My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) is a structured, evidence‑based approach that helps people understand how their thoughts, feelings, and behaviors influence one another. The core idea is that unhelpful thinking patterns can create emotional distress and lead to behaviors that keep problems going. By identifying and reshaping these patterns, people can respond to situations in more balanced and effective ways.

Grief Therapy

Grief therapy is a therapeutic approach designed to help people process the emotional, cognitive, and behavioral reactions that follow a significant loss. Rather than trying to “remove” grief, the work focuses on helping clients understand their experience, integrate the loss into their lives, and regain a sense of meaning and functioning.

Motivational Interviewing

Motivational Interviewing is a collaborative, client‑centered counseling approach designed to strengthen a person’s own motivation and commitment to change. Instead of pushing for change, MI draws out the client’s internal reasons for wanting things to be different, making it especially effective when someone feels ambivalent.

Mindfulness-Based Therapy

Mindfulness‑based therapy is an approach that integrates mindfulness practices such as present‑moment awareness, non‑judgmental observation, and acceptance into psychological treatment. It helps clients relate differently to their thoughts and emotions, reducing reactivity and increasing emotional regulation.

Supportive

Supportive therapy is a therapeutic approach focused on strengthening a client’s coping abilities, emotional resilience, and overall functioning through a warm, validating, and collaborative relationship. It emphasizes stability, encouragement, and practical support rather than deep exploration of unconscious processes or restructuring of thoughts.
