Hi, I’m Juliana, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker At this time, I am accepting family-based clients only through Grow Therapy, meaning that my work involves both a child or young person and their parent/caregiver. I do not provide individual therapy to parents unless I am also actively working with their child. My family work is collaborative and tailored to the needs of each family. I use parent-child psychotherapy, mediation, restorative practices, CBT, DBT-informed skills, mindfulness, and solution-focused interventions. Sessions may focus on strengthening parent-child communication, navigating conflict, establishing healthy boundaries, creating consistent expectations and consequences at home, improving emotional regulation, and helping families better understand and respond to one another. Depending on the family's needs, treatment may include individual sessions with the child or young person, parent sessions, parent-child sessions, or sessions involving both parents. When a child is developmentally and clinically able to meet independently, treatment includes individual time with the child alongside regular caregiver involvement so that progress can be supported outside of therapy. Families may meet weekly or biweekly, with the option for up to two sessions per week when clinically appropriate. For example, one week may include an individual session with the child and a separate parent or parent-child session. This structure allows me to support the young person's individual needs while also addressing the family relationships and patterns that affect them outside of the therapy room. When additional support is needed, I can also collaborate with schools and other outpatient providers and incorporate safety planning and parent support around concerns such as self-harm. My approach is practical, relational, and strengths-based: I want both the young person and their caregivers to feel heard while helping the family develop healthier, more consistent ways of communicating and functioning together.

You are capable, possibly the most capable person in the room, and yet something keeps getting in the way. Maybe it is the anxiety that follows you into meetings, a career crossroads you cannot seem to resolve, or a voice in your head that is harder on you than anyone else. You do not need someone to tell you what to do. You need a space to get clear, a direct approach that respects your intelligence, and tools that actually work. With 20 years of experience, I help high-functioning adults close the gap between where they are and who they know they can be. If you are feeling stuck, disconnected, or worn down by patterns you cannot seem to break, you are not alone and you are not without options. Whether you are navigating anxiety, depression, life transitions, or a loss of confidence, I create a judgment-free space where honesty meets action. My approach is warm but direct. Welcome! I am a Haitian American therapist who understands how culture, identity, and lived experience can shape our mental health. I have a number of eight plus years of experience working in preventive services, crisis intervention and providing therapy services. I provide a safe, affirming space where you can show up fully as yourself without judgement. I recognize deeply and respectfully that people hold more than one social, cultural, or personal identity such as race, gender, disability, religion, immigration status, sexuality or professional status, and that those layered experiences cannot be reduced to a single label. I believe healing happens when you feel seen, heard, and respected. Together, we'll explore your strengths, and work through challenges in a safe space. My approach is compassionate, collaborative, and rooted in cultural understanding while supporting you as you work toward balance, clarity, and emotional well-being.

Michael holds a Bachelor's in Psychology and a Master's in Applied Counseling from Lynn University, specializing in mental health and addiction. He’s driven by the transformative “breakthrough moments” when clients gain new clarity—whether through a fresh insight, a life-changing decision, or witnessing a loved one’s growth. "Every person's journey unfolds at their own pace," Michael reflects. "Being present for those transformative moments—when everything clicks into place—reminds me why I chose this path. If you've ever experienced that sudden clarity, you know exactly what I mean. It's what makes this work endlessly rewarding."

Every day, I have the privilege of walking alongside people who are carrying more than they feel they can bear, those who are exhausted, emotionally drained, defeated, and quietly wondering if things will ever feel different. When fear and worry take over, when the future feels uncertain, and when stress reaches a breaking point, it can be hard to believe that lasting change is even possible. I am here to tell you that it is. I work with people who want to move forward from feeling stuck, and I watch them discover strength they did not know they had. My work is rooted in genuine support, practical guidance, and powerful tools that create real, meaningful, and lasting change. Whether you are facing a quiet, private struggle or a deep and overwhelming season of pain, I meet you exactly where you are, without judgment, without condition. With a compassionate and client-centered approach, I help individuals move from survival mode to a place of clarity, strength, and renewed purpose. I proudly welcome clients from every walk of life, every background, and every story and I am committed to creating a safe, inclusive space where every person feels truly heard, deeply valued, and fully empowered. Your story is not over. You do not have to stay stuck, and you do not have to do this alone. Transformation is not just possible it's waiting for you. And it starts with this one courageous step.

Your first therapy session is for you and your therapist to meet each other and to ask any questions that you have about the counseling process. This is where you can expect your therapist to do the same as they will ask questions to gain insight into your specific situation. In this first session the therapist is doing their part to gather as much information so they can better assess if they are able to meet your therapeutic needs. Depending upon your provider's specialty, you may also discuss the methods the therapist will use.
