New to Grow
I’m a clinical social work therapist who works with individuals and couples navigating anxiety, depression, and everyday life stressors. I use a supportive, collaborative approach grounded in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to help you better understand your thoughts, manage emotions, and build practical coping skills. My goal is to create a space where you feel heard, empowered, and equipped to make meaningful, lasting changes.
In our first session, we’ll focus on getting to know you and what brings you to therapy. I’ll ask about your current concerns, background, and what you hope to gain from our work together. We’ll also begin identifying initial goals and discuss how I can best support you. You can expect a supportive, nonjudgmental space where you can share at your own pace, ask questions, and start building a foundation for our work together.
What stands out about my approach is the balance between structure and genuine connection. I use evidence-based methods like CBT to provide clear, practical tools, while also creating a supportive, nonjudgmental space where clients feel comfortable being open and honest. I focus on helping clients not only gain insight into their patterns but also take actionable steps toward change. Clients often find that our work together feels both validating and productive, leading to increased confidence, improved coping, and meaningful, lasting progress.
I am best positioned to support individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, and life stressors who are motivated to better understand themselves and create meaningful change. I work well with clients who may feel stuck in patterns of negative thinking, emotional overwhelm, or relationship challenges, and who are open to learning practical skills to improve their daily functioning. My approach is especially helpful for those seeking a structured, supportive environment to build coping strategies, strengthen self-awareness, and work toward goals such as improved mood, healthier relationships, and increased confidence.
Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)
I integrate Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) into my practice to help clients identify and shift unhelpful thought patterns that impact their emotions and behaviors. Using a structured, goal-oriented approach, I support clients in developing practical coping skills, challenging negative self-talk, and building healthier ways of thinking and responding. My work emphasizes collaboration, empowerment, and creating lasting change through evidence-based strategies.
