Hi, I am a LCSW with over 40 years of experience. I have worked with all age groups through the years and various human conditions. I love to hear peoples stories and help with anxiety and depression. I primarily focus on how automatic thoughts effect behavior and create our perspective on life. I also employ mindfulness techniques and motivational counseling .
My name is Doug and I think you are making a wonderful decision on taking the first step towards reaching out for support.
I have successfully worked as a counselor for 38 years and have also taken advantage of counseling opportunities to better myself.
I look forward to meeting you, learning about your hopes and passions and seeing if we can work together to help you feel better and function more effectively.
I am skilled at working with clients who struggle with handling stress, depression, anxiety or substance use issues. I am very experienced helping persons with severe and persistent mental illnesses such as Schizophrenia, severe Bipolar Disorder or Major Depressive Disorder. As I am 63 years old I also feel very comfortable helping older adults who face a variety of new challenges later in life.
A good counselor knows their limitations and as such, I suggest you seek a different person if you are looking for help with trauma-related issues or partner issues.
In my free time I enjoy traveling with my wife, cooking, reading, cycling, periodically pretend to be a golfer and (usually enjoy) watching my NY Jets!

Hi, I'm Amneris Rosario.
Let me guess: You've been thinking about therapy for a while now. Maybe months, maybe years, but something kept stopping you…too busy, too expensive, "it's not that bad yet," or maybe just the fear of opening up to a stranger who might judge you or not really get it.
Here's what I want you to know: You're already doing the hardest part by being here, you don't need to wait until things get worse, you don't need permission to ask for help, and you definitely don't have to figure this out alone. That's literally what I'm here for.
As a board-certified bilingual therapist (MS, LMHC, LPC, NCC) licensed in Florida, Texas, and New Jersey, an Army veteran, and the founder of Time to Talk Therapy, I have spent over 10 years supporting more than 3,000 clients through trauma, anxiety, depression, and major life transitions that once felt impossible to navigate. I've worked everywhere from crisis units and corrections facilities to refugee shelters and quiet therapy rooms, supporting people through chronic mental illness, personality disorders, abuse, addiction, trauma, ADHD, OCD, and some of the hardest moments of their lives... and here's what I know for sure: healing doesn't require perfection, it requires honesty and someone who actually gets it. You're not broken, you're dealing with hard things, and you deserve support that feels supportive, not cold, not judgmental, not like one more thing you're supposed to "fix" about yourself.
I specialize in trauma and PTSD, anxiety and depression, self-sabotage and recurrent patterns, complex PTSD and personality disorders, as well as life transitions.
📣I know life can get busy, so I offer weekend availability, early-morning sessions, and after-hours appointments (6:00 AM–10:00 PM), along with self-pay options to give you a little more flexibility.

What if life’s challenges and stressors didn’t prevent you from living a meaningful, fulfilling life? I believe that therapy should set you up to live real life, so I’m all about helping my clients develop coping skills to deal with life’s stressors and challenges. Let’s be honest - fixing all of your problems isn’t very realistic, is it?? I also emphasize being realistic about how our minds work. How many times have you had an unpleasant thought or emotion that you tried to banish from your mind once and for all, just to notice that the thought or emotion came back? That’s why I work with clients to change their relationship with distressing thoughts, emotions, and symptoms instead of trying to avoid or change them. I support my clients in recognizing that as long as we don’t let distressing thoughts and feelings overpower us, we are free to make choices that add up to create a fulfilling life.
My therapeutic style is very collaborative and inquisitive. I believe that therapy is a group project between my client and me, meaning that it is important for clients to be engaged in therapy and apply what they learn in therapy to their own lives outside of session. I’m the type of therapist that asks open-ended questions to help my clients make connections between their past and their present lives and between their internal experiences and external environment.
