Virtual

I am a psychotherapist with 20 years experience. I have worked with a variety of treatment modalities and age groups in Spanish and English. I help people in their most critical parts of their life and I usually aid in the achievement of release in a quick manner, My goal is to train you as your own therapist so you don't have to see me for the rest of your life.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

The first session is exploratory. In this session, you will answer several questions that will allow me to determine the diagnosis and the issues that will become the goal of treatment. Also, in this session, we determine if we can do good work together. This is the most important part of treatment as without the therapeutic alliance, there is no possibility of progress.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

I will aid you to uncover the issues interfering in your life. Together we will develop coping skills that when implemented, they will make you feel better.

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

CBT is one of the most effective forms of therapy: it is helpful for a variety of issues, has been demonstrated thru research to be effective faster, it provides people with practical skills they can practice at their own speed and in their own time, and uncovers thoughts and believes interfering with people progress.

EMDR

EMDR is the most effective treatment for trauma and results can be felt within the 3rd to 5th session.

Attachment-based

Attachment refers to the person upbringing. This type of therapy helps to develop or rebuild trust and the expression of emotions, allows for the development of secure relationships, and helps in the improvement of communication.

Gender-affirming therapy

This is also called LGBTQ+ therapy. This therapy helps people align their gender identity with their lives, it involves their biology, their emotions, and their relationship.
