New to Grow
I’m a licensed psychotherapist with over 20 years of experience helping individuals and couples navigate some of life’s most meaningful—and challenging—moments. I believe therapy works best when it’s built on trust, safety, and real connection, so my approach is warm, collaborative, and grounded in respect for your unique story. I’ve supported clients through a wide range of concerns, from major life transitions and relationship challenges to feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or unsure of what’s next. Whether you’re facing a specific issue or simply ready for change, I offer a supportive nonjudgmental space where you can feel heard, and empowered to move forward with clarity and confidence. If you’re seeking a, space to better understand yourself and explore with intention, I welcome the opportunity to explore with you.
In our first session together, here's what you can expect
Your first session is all about getting to know you and creating a safe, supportive space where you feel heard. We’ll start with a relaxed conversation about what brought you to therapy, your current concerns, and what you hope to achieve. This is also a time for you to ask any questions about the process, my approach, or what therapy might look like moving forward. The first session isn’t about fixing everything at once—it’s about building trust, clarity, and a foundation for meaningful work together. By the end, you’ll have a clear sense of how we can work together and what the next steps will be, leaving you feeling supported, understood, and ready to begin your journey.
The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions
I take a warm, grounded approach to therapy, meeting you where you are and working together as partners. I provide a safe, nonjudgmental space to explore challenges, understand patterns, and build practical tools for growth and healing. Drawing on years of experience and evidence-based practices, I tailor each session to your needs with empathy, insight, and genuine connection—helping you move forward with clarity, confidence, and intention.
The clients I'm best positioned to serve
I work with individuals and couples who feel overwhelmed, stuck, or at a turning point and are ready for meaningful change. I support concerns such as parenting stress, ADHD, postpartum depression, identity or self-worth challenges, and midlife transitions. I also help couples navigating infidelity, separation, divorce, or ongoing conflict who want clarity, healing, and healthier connections. If you’re ready to explore your experiences, heal from past trauma, and move forward with intention, I’m here to support you.
Couples Counseling
I use a collaborative and structured couples counseling approach that helps partners improve communication, understand each other’s needs, and strengthen their connection. In sessions, we focus on identifying patterns, resolving conflict effectively, and building healthier ways of relating so both partners feel heard, supported, and understood.
Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)
With CBT, I help you explore the beliefs and thought patterns that may be contributing to your current struggles. We then practice new ways of thinking and responding so you feel more in control, confident, and equipped to handle difficult situations.
Gestalt
I use Gestalt therapy to help you become more aware of your feelings and experiences in the present moment, so you can understand yourself better and make choices that feel right for you.
Solution Focused Brief Treatment
In our sessions, I focus on your strengths and solutions, helping you identify goals and practical steps to reach them, rather than dwelling on problems.
Trauma Informed Care
In my practice, I use trauma-informed care by creating a safe, supportive space, recognizing the impact of past trauma, and collaborating with you to build coping skills and resilience at your own pace.
