New to Grow
Hello, I’m Rosalina. I understand that life can be overwhelming at times, and seeking support is a brave step. With over 14 years of experience, I help individuals navigate challenges, heal from past trauma, and build a life that feels more balanced and meaningful. My approach is compassionate and client-centered—I create a safe space where you can share your story, explore your emotions, and discover your inner strengths. Together, we’ll work toward practical solutions, greater resilience, and lasting personal growth.
In your first session, we will get to know each other and explore the challenges that brought you to therapy. I’ll ask questions about your history, current concerns, and goals so we can develop a personalized plan together. This session is a safe space for you to share your experiences, ask questions, and begin building trust. You can expect a compassionate, nonjudgmental approach and practical guidance on next steps to start creating meaningful change.
My approach is compassionate, supportive, and focused on your strengths. I work alongside you to understand your experiences, uncover your inner resources, and find practical ways to cope with challenges. Clients often notice a greater sense of clarity, confidence, and hope as they learn new ways to manage stress, navigate difficult emotions, and create meaningful change in their lives.
I work best with adults who are seeking healing from trauma, managing anxiety, depression, or addiction, and striving to create meaningful change in their lives. Many of my clients come to therapy feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or disconnected, and are ready to rebuild confidence, self-compassion, and a sense of purpose. I support individuals who are open to exploring their emotions, learning new coping skills, and embracing a collaborative approach to personal growth and recovery.
I utilize Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to help clients identify and challenge unhelpful thought patterns that contribute to emotional distress and self-defeating behaviors. With over 14 years of experience as a therapy provider, I guide clients in developing practical coping skills such as reframing negative thoughts, practicing mindfulness, and engaging in solution-focused problem-solving. In my sessions, CBT is applied in a collaborative and compassionate way—empowering clients to gain insight into the connection between their thoughts, feelings, and behaviors while learning healthier ways to manage stress, anxiety, depression, and trauma.
I incorporate Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) therapy to help clients heal from trauma and distressing life experiences. Drawing on my extensive background in trauma-informed care, I guide clients through a structured, evidence-based process that allows the brain to reprocess painful memories in a safe and supportive environment. EMDR helps clients reduce emotional intensity, gain new perspectives, and restore a sense of balance and control. In my practice, I integrate EMDR with grounding and mindfulness techniques to promote emotional stability and lasting healing.
I use Internal Family Systems (IFS) therapy to help clients explore and heal the different parts of themselves that hold pain, fear, or conflicting emotions. Through this approach, clients learn to identify and understand their inner parts with compassion rather than judgment, fostering self-awareness and inner harmony. I guide clients in connecting with their “Self”—the calm, centered core within each person—to lead the healing process. IFS is especially effective in addressing trauma, addiction, anxiety, and relationship challenges, helping clients build self-acceptance and emotional balance.
I integrate Positive Psychology into my practice to help clients build resilience, increase self-awareness, and cultivate a deeper sense of fulfillment. This approach focuses on strengths, gratitude, and personal growth rather than solely on problems or symptoms. I encourage clients to recognize their inner resources, celebrate progress, and engage in practices that promote optimism and self-compassion. By focusing on what’s working well and nurturing hope, clients learn to create meaningful change and sustain emotional well-being in their daily lives.
I incorporate Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT) to help clients identify their strengths and envision practical steps toward desired change. This approach emphasizes what’s working rather than what’s wrong, empowering clients to recognize their own abilities and resources. In sessions, I guide clients to set achievable goals, highlight past successes, and build confidence in their capacity to create positive outcomes. SFBT supports clients in finding hope and direction, promoting steady progress toward meaningful and lasting improvement.
