Hi there! I’m Stephanie! I’m passionate about creating a warm, supportive, and judgment-free space where clients feel comfortable being themselves, sharing what they’re experiencing, and working toward meaningful change.
I primarily work with teens and young adults who are navigating anxiety, academic stress, sports performance, peer relationships, family dynamics, self-esteem, motivation, and the many transitions that come with growing into adulthood. I believe therapy should feel collaborative and personalized; not like a one-size-fits-all approach.
My goal is to meet each client where they are while helping them better understand themselves, build confidence, develop practical coping skills, and feel more capable of handling life’s challenges. I use a combination of CBT, solution-focused, person-centered, and motivational interviewing approaches based on each client’s unique needs and goals.
Whether you’re feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or simply ready for something to change, you don’t have to figure it all out alone. I’m here to help you take that next step.

Hi there! I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) based in Valparaiso, Indiana. I earned my Masters Degree in Social Work from Indiana University-Purdue University (IUPUI) and Social Work/Business undergraduate degrees from Valparaiso University. I work in community mental health and addictions, serving a population struggling with addiction and co-occurring mental health disorders. I mainly work with adults and adolescents. My focus is on creating a safe space to collaborate in the therapeutic experience; helping you to feel better faster!
I believe everyone has certain abilities and gifts that lead them to their calling. Side note: I am an avid sports fanatic (including some unique ones; curling is one of my favorites!), and i am an enthusiastic dog parent.

My goal is to help you better understand yourself, work through what may be holding you back, and create meaningful changes that help you feel more balanced, fulfilled, and confident in your life.
Helping individuals experience RELIEF from stress, difficult decisions, overthinking, friction in relationships, burnout, unhealthy ruts, and mental health symptoms is the favorite part of my work . I truly believe that we are all doing the best we can with what we have and what we know; and yet, we all can do better and feel better. Non-judgmental conversation (with some experienced therapy skills sprinkled in) can lead to great ideas and healing.

As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), I provide a supportive, nonjudgmental space where clients can navigate life’s challenges, build resilience, and work toward meaningful growth. Since beginning my career in 2014, I have worked with individuals and families from diverse backgrounds and across a wide range of experiences and diagnoses. I'm a therapist with nearly twenty years of experience. Most of my experience has been in a community mental health agency, with work in the outpatient and residential treatment programs. I have worked primarily with adults who have issues with anxiety, depression, and addiction. I believe therapy can be helpful in enhancing life and improving quality of life.
We're all living life for the first time. It is full of twists and turns. When we think we have it all figured out....we don't. I bring support and comfort to those difficult phases in life when we're transitioning into something new, becoming more of who we want to be. These changes can be hard and scary at times but with the right support you can navigate them. Anxiety. depressions, transitional phases, parenting, women's issues are my areas of expertise.
Identifying and utilizing the strengths you already have inside of you is our first step. You have taken the first step to major life changes, finding a therapist. Now let's work together in a solution focused way to help you reach your goals and continue to grow.
You don't have to navigate your challenges alone. I will be here to be a thought partner and a guide along side you. I look forward to watching you grow.
I am a mental health professional with over 14 years of experience in the behavioral health field. I spent nine years working in case management within a community mental health center, followed by the past five years providing care in an inpatient and outpatient behavioral health hospital setting. This background has allowed me to work with individuals across varying levels of care and support clients through acute challenges as well as long-term recovery.
I’m a mental health therapist with more than thirteen years of experience, and my practice is grounded in honoring each client as a whole person. From the moment you enter session, you are respected, appreciated, and offered a space where you can speak freely and disclose only what feels right for you. Safety, dignity, and autonomy guide every part of our work together.
Clinically, I draw from evidenced based approaches such as ERP, CBT, TRAP/TRAC, mindful‑living practices, and intentional space for processing — blending structure with openness so clients can explore both the practical and the deeply personal. My greatest strengths as a therapist are working with individuals struggling with OCD (you don't have to be afraid to speak your intrusive thoughts in my sessions. I am trained to understand the difference of ego dystonic intrusive thoughts that don't align with your true values and beliefs), Panic Attacks, Generalized Anxiety, Depression., aging and life transitions. Individuals struggling with eating disorders will be given referrals for treatment of this disorder.
If chosen by the client, I can also help integrate Christian beliefs into treatment in a way that supports their healing, values, and sense of meaning. My role is to walk alongside you, offering evidence‑based care that aligns with who you are and how you want to grow.
