Hello, I am so glad you are here! Life can be overwhelming at any stage and challenges we face can make this even more difficult. It can be hard to know where to start to make changes or where to turn to for help. I'm a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) and Licensed Addictions Counselor (LCAC) based in Indiana. I received my Bachelor's Degree from Purdue University and Master's from Indiana University and have been practicing for more than twenty years. I provide that listening ear that so many of us need. It is my goal to help those who are struggling with anxiety, depression, and/or other mood disorders increase their understanding of these emotions as well as how thoughts, feelings, and behaviors are interconnected in order to empower you to live your best life.
Welcome! My name is Katie and I am a LCSW (licensed clinical social worker). I have worked in various settings (residential, home-based, outpatient in person and virtual) for therapy and general case management for all sorts of populations (children to more experienced individuals). I specialize in anxiety, depression, coping skills, self-esteem, mood disorders, grief, health/medical issues, trauma/PTSD, and complex relationships—especially when high-conflict dynamics or emotional confusion are involved. I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in the state of Indiana providing Telehealth therapy services. I specialize in trauma recovery and a modern understanding of grief, one that recognizes that loss isn’t just about death, but about any life-altering change that leaves a void. Trauma doesn’t just live in the past, it lives in our dreams, our bodies, and the gaps in our memories. If you are experiencing ‘forgotten’ memories, bad dreams, or the aftermath of sexual abuse, you don’t have to carry that weight alone. I specialize in trauma recovery and a modern understanding of grief, one that recognizes that loss isn’t just about death, but about any life-altering change that leaves a void.
I advocate for a modern understanding of grief: loss is about much more than death. We can grieve a lost childhood, a sense of safety, a relationship, or a version of ourselves we didn’t get to become. Whether your pain feels loud or like a quiet, persistent void, I provide a compassionate space to process these "invisible" wounds.
If you are tired of processing and want to make real life changes, I am the Therapist for you. I am direct, insightful and compassionate. I have sat where you sit today and I know what kind of Therapist I do not want to be. I strive to be down-to-Earth and adjust my approach based on what the client is looking for.
Life is overwhelming, especially in the current days. I believe no one's suffering should win and if you are reading this, you deserve empathy and love. As a fellow traveler in life, I am here to create a safe, supportive space where you don’t have to carry any burden alone. If you feel dragged down by the weight of life, I will help you build the strength and capacity to cope. I seek to help you feel understood and know that you are not alone. I believe the ultimate goal of therapy is to become your own therapist, and I am here to support you through that journey. As a counseling and sport psychologist, I specialize in relationships, grief and loss, performance concerns, depression, stress, trauma, and life transitions. I will meet you with humor, compassion, and respect.

Counselor (LCAC) a Licensed Social Worker (LMSW) in the State of Michigan, and a Certified Life Coach. I am specially trained in anxiety, depression, grief, suicidal and trauma recovery. I also specialize in guiding clients in empowerment through increasing their self worth and developing skills that increase their effectiveness.
I'm a therapist with nearly twenty years of experience. Most of my experience has been in a community mental health agency, with work in the outpatient and residential treatment programs. I have worked primarily with adults who have issues with anxiety, depression, and addiction. I believe therapy can be helpful in enhancing life and improving quality of life.
You may look like you have things together on the outside, but inside feel overwhelmed, anxious, or emotionally exhausted. Many of the people I work with are high-functioning, responsible, and used to being the one others rely on, yet privately feel stuck, disconnected, or unsure how to slow down and take care of themselves.
I work with adults and couples navigating anxiety, depression, burnout, relationship challenges, and life transitions. Often, they are managing demanding careers, family responsibilities, or relationship stress while quietly feeling like it is never enough or wondering why things still feel so heavy.
I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) and Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), specializing in helping clients understand and shift long-standing emotional and relational patterns that keep them feeling stuck.
Clients often describe me as easy to talk to and appreciate that they can be fully honest in a way they may not feel comfortable doing elsewhere. I provide a space where you do not have to filter yourself.
I also bring a broad perspective shaped by living in different parts of the U.S. and traveling extensively internationally, which has deepened my ability to connect with people from many backgrounds, cultures, and life experiences.
In addition, my experience in Corporate America leadership roles gives me a strong understanding of workplace pressure, burnout, performance expectations, and the emotional toll of high-responsibility environments.
As a licensed clinical therapist, I am passionate about walking alongside clients as they discover and grow into their best selves. I strive to create a safe, supportive space grounded in strong rapport, collaboration, empowerment, and authenticity — a place where transparency is welcomed and even silence is respected as part of the healing process. I help clients recognize patterns of negative self-talk and learn practical, effective ways to reframe those thoughts, while cultivating self-compassion and a deeper understanding of their inherent worth. My approach focuses on identifying and building upon each person’s strengths to foster resilience, clarify personal values, and establish healthy boundaries that protect their energy and well-being. Together, we work to reduce guilt and shame, strengthen a sense of identity, and reinforce the truth that you matter. My goal is to help clients move beyond survival into a life marked by genuine joy, inner peace, and alignment with what is most meaningful to them.
I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with a certificate in Perinatal Mental Health, and I specialize in supporting individuals through pregnancy, postpartum, and other major life transitions. While perinatal mental health is a primary area of focus, I also work with a broad range of clients navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, stress, relationship challenges, emotional overwhelm, and identity or life changes.
Many of the clients I work with feel emotionally reactive, stuck, disconnected from themselves, or impacted by past experiences that continue to affect their daily lives and relationships. I provide a warm, supportive, and nonjudgmental space where clients can safely explore these challenges and build greater self-awareness and resilience.
My approach is trauma-informed and individualized, drawing from evidence-based modalities including CBT, EMDR, mindfulness, and strengths-based therapy. I help clients develop effective coping strategies, improve emotional regulation, process difficult experiences, and feel more grounded and confident in themselves and their roles.
My goal is to create a therapeutic relationship where clients feel supported, empowered, and capable of creating meaningful, lasting change.
With 11 years of licensed social work and therapy experience, I am passionate about supporting women through the challenges that life can bring. I work with adult women navigating depression, anxiety, relationship concerns, and the many stressors that come with balancing life's roles and transitions. My approach is friendly, compassionate, and non-judgmental. I hope to create a space where you can feel safe being fully yourself.
I have experience working with people across the life span. I have worked in both inpatient and out patient settings. I have worked with a variety of different diagnoses including ADHD, Anxiety, Depression, Grief, and Substance Abuse. I love meeting new people and learning how I can help them achieve their goals. Today is your "someday!" Anxiety, PTSD, and depression are some of the leading reasons people seek therapy. Anxiety, PTSD, and depression can keep people from being able to reach their best potential because they focus on what could go wrong instead of what could go right. Life experiences and circumstances inform anxiety experiences. It is so important to have healthy coping skills to deal with anxiety, PTSD, and depression, so you are not overwhelmed. I would love to help you learn healthy coping skills to effectively get through struggles you may be going through. Your "someday I will work on reducing my anxiety" can start today by booking your first therapy appointment to gain healthy coping skills.
I work with adults through individual therapy seeking support for everyday challenges such as stress, work-life balance, parenting challenges, relationship concerns, ADHD, emotional regulation. depression, anxiety, PTSD, career goal setting, communication skills, or life transitions to name a few. My approach is solution-focused and action oriented, to help you gain strategies you can begin using right away. I also accept Amazon EAP clients.
For clients who value Christian faith as part of their journey, I also offer the option to incorporate prayer and biblical wisdom into our work together.
Sessions will take place ONLY on the Grow Therapy portal.
