Do you ever feel stuck, alone, or disconnected from the world around you? If so, you are not alone, and I would be honored to be someone with whom you feel genuinely seen, heard, and understood. My name is Jess, and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with 17 years of experience supporting children, teens, and adults. In addition to seeing clients on Grow, I work full-time as a licensed school social worker serving students in kindergarten through 5th grade. My background also includes private practice work with adolescents and adults, giving me a well-rounded perspective on the unique challenges people face at different stages of life. I strive to create a space that feels warm, compassionate, and welcoming. If you are looking for someone who is friendly, supportive, and deeply committed to helping you navigate life’s ups and downs, you have found the right person. I believe in empowering my clients, highlighting their strengths, and walking alongside them as they work toward growth and healing. My goal is to help you feel understood, capable, and confident as you move forward. Together, we will work toward helping you move through obstacles, build on your strengths, and reach your full potential. I also want to share that I am a mom and understand firsthand that parenting brings its own unique challenges. Navigating your own worries, responsibilities, and emotions while also caring for and guiding little humans is no small task. As a mom, I truly understand the balancing act, the stress, the pressure, and the deep love that comes with it. In my free time I love to garden, hang with my family and kiddos, macrame, paint, create, meditate, practice sound healing, hike, camp, and listen to music.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

During our first session together, my focus is on getting to know you and understanding what has brought you to therapy. I will meet you where you are emotionally and create a space that feels safe, supportive, and free of judgment. You can expect me to ask thoughtful questions so I can better understand your experiences, strengths, and goals. This helps me tailor our work together in a way that feels meaningful and helpful as we begin our journey together.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

One of my greatest strengths as a therapist is my warm, nonjudgmental approach. I am naturally laid back and down to earth, which helps clients of all ages feel comfortable and at ease. I strive to create a space where you can show up exactly as you are—without fear of judgment. Building genuine, trusting relationships is at the heart of my work, and I believe that feeling safe and understood is the foundation for meaningful growth and healing.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

My ideal clients are children, teens, and adults who are looking for support as they navigate anxiety, depression, life changes, and everyday stressors. I work especially well with individuals who may be feeling overwhelmed by transitions, school challenges, peer relationships, or struggles with self-esteem, and who are ready to better understand themselves and build healthier coping skills. Whether it’s a child learning to manage big emotions, a teen working through social or academic pressures, a parent needing guidance on balance or an adult adjusting to a new chapter in life, I provide a warm, supportive space where clients feel heard, understood, and empowered to grow.

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to help my clients better understand the connection between their thoughts, feelings, and behaviors. Together, we will identify unhelpful thinking patterns that may be contributing to anxiety, depression, stress, or life transitions, and work to challenge and reframe them in healthier, more balanced ways. I incorporate practical tools and real-life strategies so my clients can apply what they learn outside of sessions. My approach to CBT is collaborative, supportive, and tailored to each individual, empowering clients to build insight, develop coping skills, and create meaningful, lasting change.

Supportive

I use supportive therapy to create a safe, steady space where clients feel truly heard and understood. I focus on building a strong therapeutic relationship grounded in empathy, validation, and trust, helping clients process their experiences without judgment. Through encouragement, reflection, and gentle guidance, I support clients in strengthening coping skills, increasing self-awareness, and building confidence as they navigate life’s challenges. My goal is to help each person feel supported while also recognizing their own resilience and capacity for growth.

Strength-Based

I use a strengths-based approach to help clients recognize and build on the abilities, resilience, and resources they already possess. Rather than focusing solely on problems or deficits, I intentionally highlight what is working well and explore how those strengths can be applied to current challenges. I believe that every person—regardless of age or circumstance—has unique qualities and inner strengths that can be leveraged for growth and healing. By empowering clients to see themselves through a lens of capability and possibility, I help foster confidence, hope, and meaningful change.
