(she/her)
Hi there! My name is Allie Stahl, and I have been practicing pediatric mental health therapy for over 12 years. After I graduated with my Master's degree in social work from IUPUI, I dedicated my life to working with kids. I combine creative interventions with evidence-based practices to make therapy fun and enjoyable for kids. I love to help kids identify, accept, and express their emotions in a healthy way. I am also credentialed as a CSAYC and can help children with problematic and harmful sexual behaviors.
After you set up a meeting with me, I will meet with you, your child, and anyone else that is important to your child’s mental health. We will get to know each other, set goals, and work towards real, measurable progress for your child. We will meet together, I will take some time 1-1 with the child, and then we will come back together. Together, we will set a schedule that works best for your family.
Having worked with kids over 12 years, I have learned how to relate to them and work with them in both a fun but evidence-based way that brings real, effective change.
I have extensive experience in helping kids with depression, anxiety, ADHD, emotional dysregulation, trauma, and OCD. I approach therapy with kids by using play, creative techniques, and games to help kids feel comfortable and open up.
