New to Grow
With 11 years of licensed social work and therapy experience, I am passionate about supporting women through the challenges that life can bring. I work with adult women navigating depression, anxiety, relationship concerns, and the many stressors that come with balancing life's roles and transitions. My approach is friendly, compassionate, and non-judgmental. I hope to create a space where you can feel safe being fully yourself.
In our first session together, here's what you can expect
Our first session is a chance for us to begin building a comfortable, collaborative relationship. We will talk about what's been weighing on you, what you're hoping will feel different, and how I can best support you. You don't need to have everything figured out--part of our work is gaining clarity together.
The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions
Over the past 5 years I have specialized in women's mental health with advanced training and certification in perinatal mental health. I love working with women helping them to recognize their strengths, values, and voice. My approach is collaborative, strengths-based, and grounded in evidence-based practices like CBT and Moticational Interviewing. I help women understand patterns in their thoughts and behaviors while building tools for lasting change.
The clients I'm best positioned to serve
I work primarily with adult women who are looking for support with anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, and the many pressures that come with balancing different roles and expectations. I also have a special focus on perinatal mental health, supporting women through pregnancy, postpartum, and early motherhood. Clients I want to work with are women who want more out of life--they want to feel happier, more fulfilled, and more like themselves again. If they are feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or disconnected, I can work with them to help them to move toward a life that feels more aligned and meaningful.
Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)
In my therapy approach, I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), which helps you recognize and shift unhelpful thought patterns that can keep you feeling stuck. I work with clients collaboratively to build skills that support confidence, healthy boundaries, and a greater sense of balance in daily life.
Motivational Interviewing
Many of the women I work with are used to putting others first or questioning their own needs. Motivational Interviewing (MI) creates a space for you to slow down, tune into your own priorities, and make choices that reflect what matters most to you.
Strength-Based
I used a strengths-based approach, helping you identify and build on your existing skills, resilience, and inner resources.
