(she/her)
I specialize in sports therapy where I can help athletes train their mental game. Training your mind is just as important as training your body. We will explore many topics to include exploring your "why" in relation to athletics and ensuring your goals and values are aligned. My goal is to help clients heal from past experiences, build resilience, and create meaningful change in their lives. I also work well with young adults dealing with life transitions.
In our first session, we’ll take some time to get to know each other and explore what brought you to therapy. We’ll talk about your goals and what’s most important to you so we can start shaping a plan that feels supportive, meaningful, and tailored to your needs.
I believe I have a unique perspective into the life of an athlete. As a long time athlete, including D1 cheerleading, coupled with my background in coaching I have a dual sided perspective on what athletes are experiencing and can meet their needs regarding the often high stress world of athletics.
I work primarily with athletes and young adults who are motivated to grow—both in performance and in life. My approach focuses on helping clients train their minds, recognize and shift unhelpful patterns, and confidently navigate life transitions. Whether it’s managing pressure in sport, building emotional awareness, or adjusting to new stages of life, I support clients in developing the tools they need to function at their best.
Acceptance and commitment (ACT)
I use ACT by helping clients notice and accept difficult thoughts and feelings without getting stuck in them. We focus on what matters most to them and take steps toward those values, even when things feel hard.
Dialectical Behavior (DBT)
I use DBT by teaching clients skills to manage emotions, handle stress, and improve relationships. We work on staying present, thinking more clearly, and finding balance between acceptance and change
Somatic
I use somatic therapy by helping clients notice how emotions show up in their bodies. We use movement, breath, and body awareness to release stress and feel more grounded.
Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)
I use CBT by helping clients identify unhelpful thoughts and replace them with more realistic ones. We work on changing patterns that get in the way and building healthier ways to cope.
Internal Family Systems (IFS)
I help clients understand and develop compassionate relationship with their inner parts, fostering increase self-awareness, emotional regulation, and healing.
