Hi! I'm a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) based in Indiana. I received my Masters from the Grand Canyon University and have been practicing for 4 years. I enjoy working with families, youth, and moms. I have experience working as a school-based therapist supporting students gain understanding of emotions, gain confidence, improve communication skills, and address behavior concerns. I have worked in home-based services to support at risk families process traumas and preserve family dynamic using a TF-CBT therapist. Also, I have experience working with pregnant and new moms navigating motherhood. I am trained in Perinatal Mental Health, Resolve Through Sharing, and Perinatal DBT in order to better support and empower mom's through whatever life throws her way!

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

In our first session together, we'll start with brief introductions, then dive into the specific challenges you're facing. This will help me create a tailored plan for us to work through in follow-up sessions.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

Having worked supporting youth, families, and new moms for the past 4 years, I've developed a playbook for helping you (a) identify the root cause of your challenges and (b) create a tailored plan that leads to measurable progress.

My treatment methods

Dialectical Behavior (DBT)

I am certified in Perinatal-DBT through University of Michigan Strong Roots evidence-based training. It is a treatment approach supporting parents-child relationships focusing on the biological, environmental, mood, and interpersonal changes present in the perinatal period.

Trauma-Focused CBT

I am trained in TF-CBT supporting children affected by trauma experience. Previous experience working with families in crisis by improving parenting and family functioning while keeping children safe. These services are provided by state and local child welfare agencies to preserve a family so they can stay safely together. The goal of family preservation services is to prevent out-of-home placement and to promote stabilization and successful reunification.
