I work to create a calm, validating therapeutic space where clients can build insight, emotional regulation, and sustainable change at a pace that feels respectful and achievable.

My goal is to create a safe, non-judgmental space where you can openly explore yours thoughts and emotions. I am passionate about supporting clients through times of change and personal growth.
I have 20 years of experience working with adults and adolescents from all walks of life. My expertise is in substance abuse, depression, relationships, family concerns, trauma and PTSD. I know sometimes people go through difficult times. They think something’s wrong with them because they have problems. Nothing could be further from the truth. Having difficulties is part of the human experience. Many people pretend they’re okay when they’re not. They keep all their pain and suffering to themselves. They’re afraid if they tell the truth, they’ll be abandoned and rejected. Therapy can open the door for you to stop pretending you’re “fine.” You can find the freedom to be you. Therapy can help you to come out of isolation and start living again. You'll start to feel better because you're showing the real you and you're connecting with someone. Your therapist can be a “loving witness to your pain.”
Hello, I'm Tracey.
"Relationships often die not because of conversations that were had but rather conversations that were never had," (Lysa Terkeurst).
Communication is the #1 most reported reason for couples to enter therapy. It is the "appropriate" way of saying, "he doesn't listen to me," and "all she wants to do is talk and talk, {nag}" or giving each other what I refer to as the "non-verbal abuse" {silent treatment}. It means I don't know my partner, or we can't talk without fighting. Yet almost every couple starts off communicating at some level. I mean, come on--you and your partner would not be a couple if the first date involved playing the "Staring contest" where the first one to blink loses.
What we fail to recognize is that Communication is a form of Intimacy. And all other forms on intimacy hinge on protecting the communicative intimacy. So, what is that and how do I get some before we leave each other?
Communicative intimacy refers to the deep emotional and relational closeness that develops through communication, where individuals feel understood, valued, and connected on a personal level. It is both a feeling and a process shaped by how people interact, listen, and respond to each other. It involves an aligned commitment to taking care of it and protecting it. So, time's a wasting and you both are out of options. You both need to commit to starting this before you commit to ending.
Hello! I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in the state of Florida and in Illinois. I obtained my Masters degree from Aurora University here in Aurora, IL. I have 8 years of experience working with marriages and families and it has been an absolute joy of mines. I have always had a strong passion to see marriages and families thrive and succeed in today's society. It is my hope to do the same for you.
My first career includes 17 years of retail management. I worked in multiple divisions, environments, and roles within the retail management industry. Most of my experiences were in the Big-Box retail environments or within the corporate office environment, so I understand the expectations and stressors of P&L management, marketing, staff performance/recruitment/training & development, shrinkage, O.S.H.A. compliance, and merchandising. I transitioned from the retail management industry to the human services industry in March of 2010 after receiving my master’s degree in Human Services with a specialty in Mental Health Counseling. I recently obtained a doctorate degree in Human Services.
This information is pertinent for adults who need assistance to cope with work-life balance, corporate industry standards, stressful work environments, conflict management with co-workers, and work performance due to compassion fatigue or inappropriate time management.

*** Please schedule appointments on the hour (i.e. 3:00, 4:00 etc.) and not on the half hour (i.e. 3:30, 4:30 etc.) or at the 15 or 45 minute times (i.e. 3:15 or 3:45 etc.) Thank you for your understanding as we work to improve the scheduling platform.***
I’m a licensed therapist, single mother, and natural healer who brings both clinical expertise and deep intuitive understanding into my work. My path into this field wasn’t just academic—it’s personal. I’ve lived through family dynamics, relationship challenges, emotional pain, and rebuilding, which allows me to meet my clients with genuine empathy, not just theory.
I work with women, men, and couples who feel overwhelmed, stuck in patterns, or disconnected from themselves. Many of my clients are high-functioning on the outside—caregivers, professionals, parents—but internally feel anxious, unfulfilled, or unsure how to move forward.
My approach blends evidence-based therapy with a deeper, more holistic lens. I pay attention not just to what’s happening cognitively, but emotionally and relationally—helping you understand the “why” beneath your patterns so real, lasting change can happen.
If you’re looking for a therapist who is both grounded and deeply perceptive, structured yet human, I offer a space where you can be fully seen and supported.

Hello! I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker based in Illinois and Maine. I have experience working with clients in crisis with severe mental illness to adults experiencing depression and anxiety with chronic complex medical conditions.
Coping with life challenges is not something you have to go through alone. Many people seek therapy for support, information, and new ideas on how to better handle the curve balls that life can throw sometimes. I believe that human beings are incredibly resilient and sometimes need assistance in recognizing their own inner strength to create positive changes in their lives. The therapeutic relationship should be collaborative, built upon both mutual respect and independence, and I hope to empower my clients to find opportunities for personal growth so that they can move forward with their goals.
I have been a great support to those experiencing significant changes in their lives such as new medical diagnosis or crisis events.
Be proud of making this step forward toward your best self.
I look forward to working together!
