New to Grow
I am a goal-oriented, strengths-based therapist who uses our session time to help clients develop pragmatic solutions. I apply decades of life experience and healthcare-oriented professional skills to help my clients reach their best potentials for happier lives. I listen with an open heart and open mind. I feel that compassionate accountability helps clients achieve their best potentials. I look forward to working with you!
During our first session, I will gain some background information and get a brief summary of what your challenges, goals, and resources are. I want to discover if our interaction is going to be a good fit going forward. I want to know about who you are and how I can best help you. This session will be more question-focused than future appointments.
The strengths I bring to session are compassion, understanding, problem-solving experience, and a career of healthcare experience.
I look forward to collaborating with an older adult who is struggling with life changes, relationship conflicts, and or mood challenges. My ideal client is motivated to share, remain open to consider positive changes in their lives, arrive willing to try helpful advice, and able to be consistent with appointments. I enjoy working with clients that engage in conversation and are willing to share.
I use CBT with Strengths-based Therapy to help clients identify their challenges, get clarity about what the challenges are, and develop a pragmatic strategy to best connect them with their joy.
