Hi. I am a middle-aged married mother of one grown and one smaller child. Our next anniversary will be 12 years for us. We were both married before finding each other, so there is a history of blending families with children. I am a Christian and Jesus is the foundation of my life. "Through Christ, we can do all things." Philippians 4:13. I have my Masters in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. I have experience in private practice settings and working in a community service board (CSB). I have led anger management groups. I have worked with ages from childhood to the elderly. I have worked with anxiety, depression, self-esteem, ADHD, family conflicts, relationship difficulties, traumas, abuse, bipolar disorder (manic episodes), suicidal ideations, personal growth (career, etc.), and spiritual development. Life can be quite challenging. Many times we are facing situations that we are not prepared for or have prior hurts that affect our ability to overcome. When we get into these places it is easy to feel stuck or even blind to what is really going on. It is easy to shut down and isolate out of fear of what others may think. I enjoy providing a safe, warm, and caring environment to help you pull down any walls or barriers so you can face the situation head-on. Many past clients have shared how I have helped them see things in a different light so they were able to rise above the challenges and grow during the process. "All things work together good for those who are called according to His purpose." Romans 8:28 You were created for a purpose and I want to help you discover what that is while helping you equip yourself better for it.

My name is Bill Massey and I am a licensed clinical social worker practicing in west central Georgia and east central Alabama. I graduated from the University of Georgia's MSW program in 1993 and became an LCSW in 1996. I have worked in home health and hospice for most of my career with a strong emphasis on geriatrics and dementia care. I have experience in inpatient psychiatric settings and residential services as well. I am looking to fill a niche that I have seen wanting attention for some time. For many years I have seen elders and their families in their homes but had to refer out any counseling other than crisis intervention to outpatient therapists. The problem is that I have been referring homebound people for outpatient therapy. This is not effective for many reasons. With the help of Grow Therapy, I intend to offer my services of counseling and case management to people in the comfort of their own homes. I will become a mobile mental health provider to serve a population that has gone largely underserved for all too long. My coverage area for in-home therapy will be Lee, Russell, and Chambers counties in Alabama as well as Muscogee, Chattahoochee, and Harris Counties in Georgia. I am opening up limited appointment times for virtual counseling as of mid May 2024.

Hi, I’m Ben Addison, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) with more than 13 years of experience helping children, adolescents, and adults navigate emotional, behavioral, and life challenges. I earned my Master of Social Work degree from the University of Georgia and have provided care across outpatient behavioral health, private practice, hospitals, emergency departments, and trauma-focused settings. I work with clients experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma and PTSD, grief, relationship difficulties, substance use concerns, self-esteem challenges, and major life transitions. I have extensive experience working with children and adolescents, including young people who have experienced complex trauma, abuse, behavioral challenges, and involvement with the legal or child welfare systems. I also have experience supporting survivors of sexual trauma and individuals navigating difficult or high-stress life experiences. My approach is warm, nonjudgmental, collaborative, and practical. I believe therapy should be a place where you—or your child—can feel safe, understood, and comfortable being yourself. Rather than taking a one-size-fits-all approach, I work with each client to understand what they are experiencing, recognize their strengths, develop healthier coping skills, and create meaningful changes that carry into everyday life. Whether you are seeking therapy for yourself or looking for support for your child or teenager, we will work together to identify what matters most and develop a path forward that feels realistic and achievable.

Welcome, I am Feven! Do you feel pulled in a million directions, unable to fit it all in? Are you struggling to keep up with your relationships, work and health? Is it hard to be kind to yourself? I help individuals manage anxiety, depression and burnout. Together, we can identify what's not working and get you back to balance. We'll use a whole self approach; addressing the needs of your mind, body and spirit. I am passionate about helping individuals navigate the different challenges they face and build coping skills to create more fulfilling and holistic life experiences. From my journey, I can personally attest to the power of support, in its many forms. This support goes beyond clients I service but also to their families and communities. I believe that mental wellness isn’t just individualistic; but includes the ecosystem surrounding the person. My praxis acknowledges and aims to support the village needed by all.  I’m also passionate about the transformative impact of safe and brave spaces for those who often experience exclusion. My career has afforded me opportunities to build trust with LGBTQ+, Black, Indigenous, Latina/o/x, and Refugee communities across the nation. It is a personal privilege to center wellness and holistic care for all as ‘self-care is a radical form of resistance.’ Whether you're dealing with overwhelm, relationship issues or cycles of anxiety and depression, trauma, PTSD, self-acceptance, I'm here to help. Seeking therapy can feel scary but you're making the right choice. You deserve a safe space to heal and grow. As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in practice for over 15 years, I have worked with clients that have extensive levels of concerns including but not limited to depression, anxiety, trauma, social and interpersonal relationship challenges not to exclude family discord. I have been adaptable to working in many different settings. I believe the approach of meeting my client where they are is a grounding principle for my therapeutic style. Although not always in person, the distance will never be seen as a distraction. I obtained my master’s degree from Florida State University, but faced many challenges with that. Some struggles in life peak during adolescence and I was no stranger to that. Transitions were not my friend, I had to overcome many relational, financial, and educational difficulties that grew me to understanding personal struggles. I believe in a client-centered approach as all clients are the experts on what works best for them and the challenges that they continue to face. I strive to provide an environment that is non-judgmental and accepting of where you are in your process while helping you get to where you want to be. Through Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), I assist clients in exploring relationships among thoughts, feelings, and behaviors to aid in discovering dysfunctional thought patterns leading to self-destructive behaviors and beliefs. I am also trained in Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing (EMDR) which is a modality that assist in how trauma is seen and processed. I have worked the better part of my career assisting in trauma processing, clients have been sexually abused, physically abused, or have suffered from significant loss. I believe counseling is a journey towards healing. If you are willing to allow me on this journey with you to master any conflict in your life, I am ready when you are!

My name is Janet Muta and I am a Licensed Clinician with over 17 years of experience in mental health, behavioral issues and relationships. I treat individuals from diverse backgrounds. My approach is treating the whole person because most of the time our problems are the outcome of more than just one thing and when I get to know you I am able to address different issues that could be contributing to that one specific problem. We all experience some difficulties in our lives sometimes and we all cope differently. What works for one person/couple who are experiencing a similar situation may not work for another and so I personalize your treatment to fit you. Being in therapy is like being on a journey, I make sure you are in the driver’s seat and I become your great working GPS, guiding you to your desired destination. I also hold a degree in finance which sometimes comes handy when helping those who are stressed due to financial needs. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW/LICSW) providing individual therapy to adults (18+) across Alabama, Georgia, Tennessee, and Kentucky. My journey to becoming a therapist began with a deep desire to make a meaningful difference in people’s lives. This passion led me to pursue a double major in Criminal Justice and Psychology, giving me insight into both human behavior and the systems that shape our experiences. From there, I earned a Master’s Degree in Social Work, building a strong foundation to guide, support, and empower those I work with. My practice is grounded in a client-centered, collaborative, and trauma-informed philosophy. I view therapy as a partnership, with your voice and perspective at the center. I became a therapist because therapy changed my life. Experiencing mental illness caused struggle and emotional suffering, but lead me to seek help. The support I found brought solace and healing, and eventually opened doors that led to becoming a therapist. It is such a meaningful experience to reach those who are now where I once was. Over the years I had opportunities to work in many settings, including medical and mental health hospitals, intensive outpatient, and residential addiction treatment centers, and now private practice.

Welcome and thanks for visiting my profile here at Grow! My name is Tiffany, and I am an original native of Memphis, Tennessee. However, I was raised in Stone Mountain/Lithonia, GA, and began my academic journey in Augusta, GA. In 2012, I completed my undergraduate training at Paine College, where I achieved my Bachelor of Science Degree in Biology with an emphasis in pre-professional studies. Seeking to understand more about human interaction and behavior, I developed an intense passion for mental health which led me to the obtainment of my Master of Science Degree in Applied Psychology with a special concentration in Behavioral Health from the University of Phoenix in 2016. As I grew to learn and understand more about the role and impact of significant relationships and systemic issues on individual mental health, I went on to pursue and obtain my second Master of Science Degree in Marriage and Family Therapy at Capella University in 2022. My career journey highlights extensive hands-on experience in nearly every realm of the practice of mental/behavioral health to include child & adolescent counseling, family, marriage, and couples counseling, as well as forensic and geriatric psychology, applied behavior analysis, international education coordination services, substance abuse treatment, case management, inpatient psychiatric/crisis intervention, and treatment servicing at-risk youth in secure facilities. In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with family and friends, listening to music, dancing, eating, and traveling.

Greetings. My name is Lekisha Glenn. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) with a deep commitment to supporting individuals and families through life’s most challenging moments. My passion for helping others began as a teenager while volunteering with children in foster care, and has since evolved into over a decade of dedicated service across various settings. I have extensive experience working with children, teens, young adults, and families, particularly those facing difficulties with behavior, focus, emotional regulation, and adjustment. I specialize in treating ADHD, anxiety, anger management, autism spectrum disorder, depression, trauma, grief, domestic violence, DMDD, and other adjustment-related issues. I have a Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and integrate both my personal resilience as a trauma survivor and clinical expertise to create a compassionate, nonjudgmental therapeutic environment. Clients describe me as warm, relatable, and highly supportive—someone who truly meets you where you are. My therapeutic approach is integrative and client-centered, drawing from evidence-based modalities such as Person-Centered Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing, Art Therapy, and Talk Therapy. I believe in helping clients identify root causes and build practical tools for emotional well-being and personal growth. With a strong background in working with children and adolescents who struggle with discipline, anger, attention, anxiety, trauma, and depression, I feel that I have a natural ability to connect and guide young clients in a way that fosters trust, empowerment, and change. “It’s not the load that breaks you down, it’s the way that you carry it.” I am ready to walk beside you on your journey toward healing. If you are prepared to do the work and seek a safe, supportive space to grow, transform, and thrive—schedule an appointment with me today.

For the past 12 years, I have been practicing depth psychotherapy that values the therapeutic relationship. I came to this field in midlife, guided by a deep desire to follow what I have always loved - psychology and psychotherapy. I earned my Master’s degree in a holistic psychology program at the University of West Georgia and pursued additional training in depth psychotherapy with the American Academy of Psychotherapists. My work is grounded in Humanistic psychology and centers on the transformative power of the relationship between therapist and client. I focus on growth rather than pathology, and on understanding the whole person rather than a focus on some aspect of their experience. I am also committed to ongoing self-reflection and personal work. This helps me remain aware of my own dynamics and any barriers that could interfere with being fully present with clients and understanding my clients' life experiences. I approach each person with curiosity rather than judgment, holding a deep trust in every individual’s innate capacity for healing and growth when given the right support, insight, and meaningful therapeutic relationship.
