I am a National Certified Counselor and received my bachelor’s in psychology from Silliman University and master’s in clinical Mental Health Counseling from Antioch University, New England. In your first session with me, you can expect a warm and supportive environment where you will be treated with respect and empathy. The initial meeting is primarily focused on getting to know you and understanding your unique concerns and goals. We will have a brief discussion about the counseling process, including confidentiality and what to expect in our work together. We will talk about your current challenges, background, significant events, and experiences that may be influencing your feelings or behavior. I use a variety of therapeutic approaches and techniques tailored to your individual needs. This may include cognitive-behavioral therapy, dialectical behavior therapy, mindfulness practices, solution focused or other methods suited to your situation.
