Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

In your first session with me, you can expect a warm and supportive environment where you will be treated with respect and empathy. The initial meeting is primarily focused on getting to know you and understanding your unique concerns and goals. We will have a brief discussion about the counseling process, including confidentiality and what to expect in our work together. We will talk about your current challenges, background, significant events, and experiences that may be influencing your feelings or behavior. I use a variety of therapeutic approaches and techniques tailored to your individual needs. This may include cognitive-behavioral therapy, dialectical behavior therapy, mindfulness practices, solution focused or other methods suited to your situation.

Johanna is a great therapist. She comes up with ways to make sure I put my mental health first. She is not judgmental at all and is a great listener. She gives great advice and looks out for the best of her clients.
