New to Grow
I am a person centered therapist dedicated to creating a supportive, nonjudgmental space where clients feel heard, valued, and understood. I work along with clients to help them build self awareness, confidence, resilience, and personal growth through a holistic approach that supports the whole person. I work with clients experiencing anxiety, depression, stress, life transitions, self esteem concerns, and mindset barriers. I tailor each session to meet the client’s unique needs and goals while using evidence based approaches such as CBT, ACT, mindfulness, and strengths based therapy. My goal is to empower clients to create positive change, develop healthier coping strategies, and feel more connected to themselves, their relationships, and the life they want to build.
In your first session, you can expect a welcoming and supportive space where we focus on getting to know you and what brings you to therapy. We will complete the intake process, which includes questions about your concerns, background, and goals. You are not required to share anything you are not comfortable with, and we will move at a pace that feels right for you. This is also a time for you to ask questions and begin building comfort and trust in the therapeutic process. My goal is to ensure you feel heard, supported, and collaborate with you on a plan that fits your needs.
What makes me unique as a therapist is my ability to create a space where clients consistently feel heard, understood, and valued. I approach each person with genuine compassion and respect, recognizing both their strengths and the areas they are working through. Even when addressing difficult topics, challenges or areas for growth, I do so with care, empathy, and a focus on understanding the whole person. My goal is to ensure clients feel supported, never judged, as they work toward healing and positive change.
Clients I work best with are ages 18 to 65+ who recognize their need for growth, heal, and create positive change in their lives. I support clients experiencing anxiety, depression, stress, self esteem challenges, and life transitions such as career changes, relationship shifts, personal growth, or adjusting to new circumstances. Whether a client feels stuck, overwhelmed, or simply ready for change, I provide a supportive space to help them move forward with clarity and resilience.
Acceptance and commitment (ACT)
I use ACT to help clients built resilience, develop healthier relationships with their thoughts and emotions to create meaning change.
Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)
I use CBT to guide clients on recognizing unhelpful thinking patterns, beliefs and behaviors that may be contributing to emotional distress. It is goal oriented and it helps clients to develop better ways of coping and create long lasting positive changes in their lives.
Dialectical Behavior (DBT)
DBT really helps clients with developing better relationships, apply mindfulness into their every day to stay more present, learn how to tolerate stress and have healthier ways of manage their emotions.
Grief Therapy
I help clients process loss and life changes by navigating the emotional impact of bereavement. I make sure to focus on exploring different types of emotions like sadness, anger, guilt or even confusion while developing healthy strategies at each client's own pace.
Strength-Based
I mainly use this type of therapy to help client recognize and build upon their existing abilities, resilience and personal resources to overcome challenges.
