(she/her)
Are you feeling overwhelmed by the demands of life or stuck in patterns that no longer serve you? Are relationships in your life—whether with a partner, child, or even yourself—leaving you feeling frustrated, disconnected, or unsure of what to do next? Maybe you're navigating a big life transition, coping with anxiety or depression, or trying to manage ADHD while juggling school, work, or family. If any of this sounds familiar, you're not alone—and you don’t have to figure it out on your own. I'm a psychologist who works with adolescents and adults facing a range of emotional and behavioral challenges. I offer a supportive, nonjudgmental space where we can explore what’s going on beneath the surface and find practical, meaningful ways to move forward. Whether you're looking to improve communication, manage stress more effectively, feel more present in your life, or rediscover joy in your relationships, therapy can be a powerful tool for change. In our work together, I draw from evidence-based approaches like Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and emotional processing techniques to help you build insight, strengthen coping skills, and make lasting changes. My style is collaborative, compassionate, and grounded in real-life strategies that align with your values and goals. Wherever you are on your journey, I'm here to support you in creating a more peaceful, fulfilling life—one step at a time.
In our first session, my goal is to create a welcoming and judgment-free space where you can feel comfortable sharing what’s bringing you to therapy. We’ll talk about your concerns, goals, and any questions you have about the process. I’ll ask about your history, current challenges, and what you hope to get out of our work together—but we’ll go at your pace. You don’t need to have all the answers or a perfectly clear plan. This is a space for us to get to know each other, and for you to begin feeling supported as we map out a path forward together.
What sets my approach apart is the balance of empathy, practicality, and cultural responsiveness I bring to the therapy space. I draw from evidence-based methods like CBT, DBT, and emotional processing, but I don’t believe in one-size-fits-all solutions. I take time to understand your unique story—your strengths, values, and lived experiences—so we can tailor our work to what actually resonates with you. I am also a sex-positive therapist, affirming of diverse identities, orientations, and relationship structures. My clients often tell me they appreciate feeling both challenged and deeply supported. Together, we focus on building insight, developing actionable strategies, and creating real, sustainable change in your day-to-day life. Whether you're working through a specific issue or seeking long-term growth, my approach is collaborative, down-to-earth, and centered on helping you feel more grounded, empowered, and whole.
I’m especially well-suited to support clients who are navigating life transitions, managing the emotional impact of ADHD or mood disorders, healing from past experiences, or working to improve their relationships. I support young adults, college students, professionals, and individuals from BIPOC communities who are managing stress or carrying the weight of cultural, academic, or career expectations. Many of my clients are high-achieving yet feel anxious, overwhelmed, or disconnected from themselves. Some are processing identity-related stress or working through generational patterns that no longer fit. Others are trying to balance ambition with mental wellness, or seeking clarity around relationships, boundaries, and purpose. If you’re feeling stuck but motivated to grow, therapy can be a powerful space to slow down, reflect, and realign with who you want to be. I bring cultural humility, clinical expertise, and a down-to-earth approach to help you feel heard, seen, and supported as you move toward a more grounded and fulfilling life.
