Hi there, I'm Lorrie.
I'm so glad you are reaching out for help. That's a huge first step, and often the hardest part of your journey to health and happiness.
I work with trauma, anxiety, stress, overwhelm, and relationship issues. If you are dealing with difficult emotions and can't seem to stop worrying about the future or ruminating about the past, I can help! My approach to therapy is holistic, addressing the needs of your mind, body and spirit.
In our first session you can expect to learn more about somatic therapies, and other mind-body bridging practices. By the end of the session you will have some tools you can start using right away. We will work together to identify your goals for therapy and create a treatment plan just for you.
I specialize in treatments that get you grounded, with a sense of safety, acceptance of what is, and curiosity and excitement about what could be!
Before I became a therapist, I was a yoga and mindfulness educator for 30+ years. I bring my expertise in mindfulness, meditation and breath work into every session treating mind, body and spirit.
What ever your mental health challenge, I'm here to help. Seeking out, and then showing up for therapy can be hard, but you are making the right choice! We'll work together using evidence-based techniques that are proven to help you manage your struggles and heal your trauma.
I hope we connect soon and get you started on a path to healing and happiness right away. Just one other thing... I require all of my clients to have their cameras on during all sessions. Its a safety thing.... and I appreciate your understanding.

Hey Everyone! I am a licensed professional counselor (LPC) based in North Georgia. I have been practicing for the last 9 years after getting my Masters from Wake Forest University. I am a veteran with five years of counseling experience, bringing a grounded, compassionate, and disciplined approach to therapy. I take the time to truly understand each client’s unique needs and goals, creating a supportive and collaborative therapeutic relationship. Using Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) and trauma-informed care, I help clients address anxiety, depression, PTSD, and target behaviors while building practical coping skills to support lasting change.
I think one of the most important parts of therapy is finding the right "fit". That relationship is key in helping grow, trust and meet any goals that you might have going into the therapeutic process. Let me give you a glimpse of who I am!
I'm Amy, a LMHC, who has been in the counseling world for over 15 years and love what I get to do. I started my career in the community health sector which I learned so much and worked with diverse groups of people with an array of various needs. I have worked in school settings as well as in homes. I have been deep within the community in many of my roles along the way.
I have developed many techniques along the way as not one intervention will work for everyone. Some of the modalities I use are EMDR, CBT, Motivational interviewing, solution-focused techniques as well as a combination of these.
I meet people where they are, maybe having to learn how they are even feeling let alone how to cope with that feeling. Maybe we have a tool, but if no one ever took the time to teach us, then what good is that tool?
I’m a compassionate, trauma-informed Licensed Professional Counselor with eight years of experience helping individuals navigate life transitions, heal from emotional pain, and build healthier relationships with themselves and others. I began my career as a school counselor, which allows me to connect especially well with adolescents and young adults. I create a supportive, nonjudgmental space where clients feel safe, heard, and empowered to grow and create meaningful change.
Hi, I'm Rendi,
A licensed clinical social worker, certified life coach, SYMBIS and Prepare/Enrich facilitator, Florida notary public, wife and mother of 4 (1 boy and 3 girls). I am an introverted extrovert who loves to eat and am a self-proclaimed foodie who doesn’t like dessert. I love to travel, hate the beach and will karaoke for hours on end (I cannot sing). I am loud, confident, motivated, passionate, and giving.
I graduated from The University of Georgia with a Bachelor’s and Master’s of Social Work. I have experience in a variety of settings including, child welfare, hospice, home health, hospital social work, social work management, and with family and individual counseling. I’ve had therapy and believe in therapy to help people on their journey.
I’ve enjoyed working with clients who are looking for change in their lives and are willing to take an honest look at patterns and behaviors that have historically led to conflict or unhappiness. The amazing aspect of working with these clients is that they often already know what needs to be done. Having a nonjudgmental space to explore behavior patterns that oppose what they say they want to accomplish, helps to bring these behaviors into the light and enable self-identified changes needed for success. As a counselor, I feel it is my job to act as a mirror so that clients can see themselves more clearly, and not to give advice, that, on some level, they already know needs to happen. My goal is to be the client's most avid cheerleader.
I am a licensed professional counselor with over 20 years of experience working with individuals and families in counseling. My therapeutic approach centers around cognitive behavior therapy, psychodynamic therapy, play therapy, solution-focused therapy, and emotion-focused therapy. We all need help navigating through this thing called "life." Entering into a therapeutic relationship is a major step toward becoming the best "you."
