New to Grow
Life can feel overwhelming, especially when you've spent years being the one everyone else depends on. I help adults (21+) navigate anxiety, trauma, life transitions, perfectionism, people-pleasing, and relationship challenges in a space where they can finally exhale. My approach is warm, collaborative, and trauma-informed, blending evidence-based therapies like CBT, ACT, mindfulness, and somatic techniques to help you better understand yourself, build resilience, and create lasting change. Together, we'll move beyond simply surviving and toward living with greater peace, confidence, and authenticity.
Starting therapy can feel intimidating, so my goal is to make your first session feel comfortable and supportive. We'll spend time getting to know one another, discussing what brought you to therapy, exploring the challenges you're facing, and identifying what you hope to gain from our work together. I'll ask questions to better understand your history, strengths, and goals while giving you plenty of space to share at your own pace. We'll also talk about how I work and begin creating a plan that feels personalized to your needs. You don't have to have the "right words" or everything figured out, just come as you are.
Clients often describe me as warm, compassionate, and easy to talk to. I create a space where you can feel genuinely seen, heard, and accepted while also helping you challenge patterns that no longer serve you. I balance empathy with practical, evidence-based strategies, helping you understand not only what's happening but also why it's happening. My trauma-informed approach honors your experiences while empowering you with tools to regulate your nervous system, strengthen self-awareness, and build lasting emotional resilience. I believe therapy should be a place where healing feels possible and growth feels attainable.
My ideal clients are adults (21+) who are high-achieving, driven, and successful in many areas of life, yet privately feel overwhelmed, anxious, emotionally exhausted, or disconnected from themselves. They may struggle with perfectionism, people-pleasing, trauma, chronic stress, relationship challenges, or major life transitions. Often, they've become so accustomed to carrying the weight of work, family, or others' expectations that they've lost sight of their own needs. They're ready to understand the patterns keeping them stuck, develop healthier ways of coping, and build a life that feels more balanced, authentic, and fulfilling. Whether they're new to therapy or returning after time away, they're looking for a compassionate, collaborative space where they can gain practical tools, heal from the past, and create meaningful, lasting change.
I help clients understand how past experiences have shaped the way they think, feel, and respond to the world while also focusing on practical ways to create change in the present. Therapy with me combines self-exploration with evidence-based strategies, mindfulness, and nervous system awareness to help you build resilience, strengthen emotional regulation, and move toward a life that aligns with your values.
