I believe that seeking therapy is an act of courage and self-love. Choosing to care for yourself in this way is a meaningful step, even when it feels challenging. In our work together, we’ll explore how your past experiences, relationships, cultural background, and life patterns influence how you feel and show up in the world. I also pay attention to how your body, emotions, and the social and gendered aspects of your life play a role, helping you connect mind and body while gaining insight into what drives your patterns. I work with clients from diverse backgrounds, including those navigating questions of identity, belonging, or cultural transitions, as well as those processing trauma, life changes, or difficult emotions. My goal is to create a safe, compassionate space where you feel seen, heard, and understood, no matter your story. Together, we’ll explore what’s happening beneath the surface while also developing practical tools to manage stress, regulate emotions, and strengthen relationships. Therapy can help you uncover recurring patterns, build resilience, and cultivate a deeper, more compassionate connection with yourself and others. I see therapy as a collaborative process. You bring your experience, and I bring guidance, skills, and support. The work we do together is about understanding yourself more fully, finding ways to navigate life’s challenges with confidence, and creating lasting change that feels authentic and meaningful to you.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

Our first session is an opportunity to get to know each other and begin building a safe and supportive space. I focus on understanding you as a whole person—your experiences, relationships, cultural background, and the patterns that shape your life. We’ll talk about what brings you to therapy, what’s been challenging, and what you hope to gain from the process. I want to hear about your needs, expectations, and goals so that we can tailor our work together in a way that feels meaningful and practical for you. Whether you’re navigating life transitions, processing difficult experiences, or simply seeking greater self-understanding, this session is about laying the foundation for engaged and supportive therapeutic relationship. I aim to help you feel truly seen, understood, and hopeful about the possibilities ahead. I hope that you’ll leave the session with a sense of clarity about how we might work together and what steps could help you start moving toward the changes you’re seeking.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

My greatest strengths as a therapist are compassion and openness. I strive to create a warm, nonjudgmental space where clients feel seen, heard, and understood. I approach each client with curiosity about their story, experiences, and perspectives. My multicultural background and international experiences shape the way I work. I understand how culture, migration, and social context influence identity, relationships, and personal growth, and I bring this awareness into every session. This allows me to connect with clients from diverse backgrounds and honor the complexity of each individual’s life. I also bring a holistic, integrative approach to therapy, blending psychodynamic exploration with CBT-informed techniques, relational focus, and attention to the body and somatic experience. I aim to connect with multiple aspects of a client’s life—emotional, relational, cultural, and physical—so we can see patterns, uncover meaning, and explore how all these parts influence one another. What makes me unique is the way I blend insight, compassion, and practical skills while holding space for the full richness of who my clients are. I help clients feel more connected to themselves, to others, and to the life they want to build.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

I work well with clients who are curious about themselves and open to exploring how their past experiences, relationships, and cultural background have shaped who they are today. You might be feeling stuck in recurring patterns, navigating questions of identity or belonging, processing trauma, or going through a life transition that leaves you wanting a deeper understanding of yourself. As a female, international, multicultural therapist, I especially connect with individuals who are balancing different cultural identities, family expectations, or the immigrant experience. You may be looking for a space that is compassionate, trauma-informed, and where you feel truly seen and understood. I take a somatic and contextual approach, paying attention to how your body, environment, and lived experiences influence your emotions and behaviors. By integrating awareness of both mind and body, as well as the broader social and cultural context, we can work together to uncover patterns, build resilience, and foster healing. If you’re seeking both insight and practical support, my approach blends trauma-informed, psychodynamic exploration with concrete, skill-based tools to help you manage day-to-day challenges as you work toward meaningful and lasting change.

My treatment methods

Psychodynamic

I use a psychodynamic approach to help you understand how your past experiences, relationships, and unconscious patterns may be shaping your current thoughts, emotions, and behaviors. Together, we’ll create a safe, reflective space where you can explore recurring themes, deepen your self-awareness, and make sense of what’s beneath the surface.

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

I use a Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) approach to help you understand the connection between your thoughts, emotions, and behaviors. Together, we’ll identify unhelpful patterns and develop practical skills to challenge them, so you can feel more balanced and in control. I strive to create a supportive and safe space where you can develop insight, learn effective coping tools, and make meaningful, lasting changes in your daily life.

Dialectical Behavior (DBT)

I take a DBT-informed approach to support you in navigating overwhelming emotions and moments of distress with greater stability and self-compassion. I focus on helping you slow things down, stay present, and respond more intentionally rather than react impulsively. This will help you learn skills to strengthen your relationships, set healthy boundaries, and tolerate difficult feelings—so you can navigate challenges with more confidence and balance.

EMDR

I am currently in the process of becoming certified in EMDR therapy and incorporate EMDR-informed techniques into my work when appropriate. This approach can help you process and heal from distressing or traumatic experiences in a way that feels safe, structured, and supportive. My goal is to help you move toward relief, resilience, and a greater sense of peace.
