Hello, I’m Dr. Jeanne D. Williams, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker dedicated to helping individuals, couples, and families navigate life’s challenges and discover healing, growth, and balance. I provide a compassionate, nonjudgmental space where clients can better understand their thoughts and behaviors while building practical tools for lasting change. My approach is grounded in evidence-based practices like CBT and tailored to help you feel more in control, balanced, and connected in your daily life.
I help high-achieving women move from feeling overwhelmed and stuck to feeling calm, confident, and in control of their lives. Many of my clients are navigating divorce, breakups, or major life transitions and are ready to rebuild, not stay in confusion or dysfunction. They’ve already made the decision to leave unhealthy relationships and are now focused on healing, identity, peace, and purpose.
You’re looking for more than just a space to talk. You want practical tools, emotional support, and a results-driven approach. In therapy, we create strategies to help you manage mild anxiety, stress, overwhelm, burnout, and adjustment-related challenges, while building self-trust, boundaries, and emotional independence.
I understand these transitions on a personal level. I’ve walked through divorce, burnout, and seasons of carrying it all alone. Because of that, I offer a grounded, relatable approach where you can be vulnerable and honest while still being challenged to grow. If you’re ready to step into the next chapter of your life with clarity and confidence, I’d be honored to support you.
I am a licensed professional counselor who values authenticity, collaboration, and practical growth in the therapeutic process. I primarily work with adults experiencing anxiety, depression, and the effects of trauma who are ready to take meaningful steps toward improving their lives. I place strong value on accountability, while also providing a supportive space where progress can occur at a realistic and sustainable pace.
I’m a Licensed Professional Counselor with nine years of experience providing counseling across community mental health centers, school-based settings, and private practice. Growing up in a rural town with limited access to care, I witnessed firsthand the barriers many people face when trying to receive support. That experience shaped my commitment to delivering accessible, culturally responsive, and effective treatment. Since 2019, I’ve offered telehealth services alongside in-person sessions, ensuring clients receive quality care—wherever they are.
I am Jeneifer Threadcraft, a Licensed Professional Counselor and the CEO of Positive Peering, Inc., with over 18 years of experience specializing in trauma and suicide prevention. Life can feel overwhelming, especially when past experiences, anxiety, or self-doubt make it hard to move forward. As a warm and grounding therapist (who isn’t afraid to add a little humor when it helps), I create a space where you don’t have to have everything figured out. You just need to show up as you are. I help adults, teens, couples, BIPOC clients, LGBTQIA+ individuals, and those navigating spiritual or religious trauma reconnect with themselves, find clarity, and build healthier patterns.
My Professional Background and Counseling Philosophy
My passion for mental health has shaped my work with individuals, families, and communities across a variety of settings. Over the years, I have had the privilege of collaborating with clients to enhance their well-being, drawing on my experience across diverse settings, including hospital Emergency Departments, psychiatric units, community organizations, and mental health agencies. My professional journey includes supporting individuals with developmental and intellectual disabilities, assisting those facing mental illness, and working with people who have experienced homelessness and hopelessness. I have also provided both individual and group therapy within clinical settings.
Counseling Philosophy
At the core of my counseling practice is the belief that meaningful change occurs through collaboration and purposeful effort. I view my clients as the experts in their own lives and encourage them to take an active role in their treatment by investing time and energy in the process. Together, we identify the outcomes that matter most to the client and work to ensure consistent progress toward those goals. My approach centers on empowering clients by fostering self-awareness and resilience, and I am dedicated to ensuring every individual feels heard, understood, and supported throughout their therapeutic journey.
Commitment to Client Autonomy
What distinguishes my counseling style is a steadfast commitment to honoring each client’s autonomy. For example, I have worked with clients who struggle with anxiety and self-doubt. By collaborating closely, we identify the client’s unique strengths and develop practical coping strategies tailored to their needs. As clients move through this process, they gradually regain their confidence and begin taking meaningful steps toward their desired outcomes. This experience reinforced for me the importance and effectiveness of a supportive, empowering therapeutic alliance. In every interaction, my focus is on achieving the best possible results and facilitating lasting, positive change.
I am here to help you remember who you are and build the capacity to hold life’s waves and find ways to root back into yourself no matter what is happening around you.
My approach is person centered and creative. I weave nervous system regulation, expressive arts, mindfulness, and storytelling to help you feel safe in your body, clear in your mind, and hopeful about your future. Whether you are moving through grief, caregiving fatigue, anxiety, trauma, or simply the disorienting transitions of being human, I will meet you with compassion and honesty.
I know the terrain of loss, overwhelm, and starting again. My own story has taught me that healing is never linear but it is always possible. Therapy with me is an invitation to be fully yourself, to process what hurts, and to grow into the life you long for with more presence, confidence, and ease.
My philosophy towards Therapy is the following:
"The nice thing about things that are urgent is that if you wait long enough they aren’t urgent anymore.” --Dr. Amos Tversky The demands of modern society have created an environment in which every moment of every day seems to be urgent. This constant sense of urgency leads to stress, which in turn makes you feel overwhelmed and unfulfilled. You may feel like each day is no more than a series of crises and that you can’t keep up with everything. Finding your way out of this loop requires stepping outside of your daily routine and figuring out what really matters to you.
It takes a great deal of courage to seek help for oneself. I commend you for taking the first step towards improving your life and will stand by and encourage you along this journey together.
I am passionate about helping people heal from trauma, specifically unprocessed trauma that has resulted in debilitating PTSD symptoms. I have training in prolonged exposure therapy for PTSD, sex therapy, experience working with clients with body image issues, and clients struggling with chronic illness. My work focuses on helping clients heal from trauma, decrease PTSD symptoms that leave them unable to function, and develop a deeper knowledge of, understanding of, and relationship with themselves. I am knowledgeable, supportive of, and love working with individuals in the polyamory and kink communities.

Hello, I'm Shakera. No one knows you better than yourself, so be proud of this first step of taking care of yourself. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor with 7 years of experience working as a therapist My focus is on implementing a client-centered approach, where I believe the most important aspect is to provide a non-judgmental and safe space for all of my clients. It's crucial not to pressure my clients to convey what is uncomfortable but to help them process their feelings and empower them to do what is best for them in their daily lives.
Throughout my career, I have had the privilege of working with adults who have experienced trauma, grief, depression, relationship issues, family conflicts, self-image issues, anxiety, peer pressure, and so much more. My approach is versatile, incorporating a variety of techniques such as cognitive behavioral therapy, solution-focused theory, mindfulness techniques, grounding techniques, and more. Hello, I'm Kenny.
Are you struggling with wounds from your past? Does life seem stressful, overwhelming or heavy?
I am experienced in helping adults and teens navigate concerns with trauma, depression, and anxiety. I use a collaborative approach to empower my clients to identity unhelpful thought and behavior patterns contributing to your life's struggles.
No matter what challenge you are facing, I believe that you can find healing. I am encouraged that you are making the decision to help yourself, and I would be honored to come alongside you in that process.
I have 25 years of experience working with all age groups, couples, family, adolescents, elderly and all races where I utilize CBT as a base and add other modalities as needed. I believe each person is an individual that cannot be put into a 'fits all' box. I believe a commitment with patience over time can lead to significant growth and understanding of oneself. Mindfulness, Carl Jung's Shadow Work as well as Negative Core Beliefs can lead to changes that offer a completely new way of living and thriving. I also have experience with the LGBT+ community. A therapist in my experience adds a level of effectiveness having done therapy ourselves and I have put a lot of time and effort on the other side of the therapeutic relationship. It has allowed me a strong level of empathy and understanding of what clients go through when in therapy. Substance Abuse is an area I also have experience with.
I am a counselor who believes that the therapeutic relationship is essential. From the moment I first meet a client I want to do everything in my power to help them feel comfortable. I acknowledge that counseling can be daunting - meeting a stranger and sharing the intimate details of one's life is frightening. I assure my clients that they are in a safe place and they can share as much or as little as they like. Regardless, they will be accepted unconditionally.

Hi there!
I'm a therapist who specializes in helping people overcome people-pleasing tendencies and trauma. It can be overwhelming to navigate these challenges on your own, but together, we can work towards building your self-esteem, creating space for your own needs, and developing new ways of communicating with others.
If you've experienced trauma, it can be difficult to trust others and feel safe in your everyday life. You might be struggling with anxiety, depression, or other symptoms that make it hard to move forward. I want you to know that healing is possible, and you don't have to go through this alone. Using evidence-based therapies like Brainspotting and Internal Family Systems (IFS), I can help you process your experiences, reduce distressing symptoms, and move towards a more fulfilling life.
I have been in the field of social services for over 20 years, focusing mainly on child welfare. For the past 11 years, I have been a Clinical Social Worker. I work with adults and adolescents with issues related to anxiety, depression, self-esteem, and transitioning out of unhealthy relationships. I empower women to build assertive communications skills and to understand how the family of origin and past experiences impact current relationship patterns. I work with couples to develop strategies to add life and love to their relationships and co-parenting strategies for parents living apart. I believe that empathy and the ability to relate to clients is a crucial components of the therapeutic environment. I understand from my own hardships the value of having a trusting therapeutic relationship in which to explore feelings and seek redirection to new opportunities
I know how easy it is to become the person everyone depends on while quietly carrying stress, pressure, anxiety, or emotional pain underneath the surface. Many of the clients I work with are high functioning professionals, caregivers, parents, and leaders who are used to pushing through life while putting their own emotional needs on the back burner. Over time, that emotional weight can start showing up in relationships, work, sleep, mood, self esteem, or simply feeling disconnected from yourself.
My goal as a therapist is to create a space where you no longer feel like you have to hold everything together alone.
I specialize in EMDR therapy and work with adults and couples navigating trauma, anxiety, depression, relationship stress, and emotional overwhelm. My approach is warm, grounded, and direct. I believe therapy should feel like a real conversation with someone who is present, engaged, and genuinely invested in helping you heal and grow.
Together, we will explore not only what is happening in the present, but also how past experiences may still be shaping the way you think, feel, react, and connect with others today. EMDR can help reduce the emotional intensity connected to painful experiences so you can move through life with greater clarity, confidence, and peace.
With over 16 years of experience in mental health and substance use recovery, I am passionate about helping people move out of survival mode and feel more emotionally connected, balanced, and like themselves again.
I provide virtual therapy to clients in Georgia, Florida, and Virginia.
