My name is Leslie Stover, I am a licensed clinical social worker in North Carolina. I am a proud graduate of Howard University's Social Work program. My areas of expertise include depression, anxiety, self-esteem, and family issues. With 6 years of professional work experience. I have experience in helping clients improve their lives and overcome challenging moments. I believe that you are the expert on your story and that you have many strengths that will assist you in overcoming things that challenge you. After our first session, you can expect to feel more confident, calm, and ready to make progress toward your individual objectives. I truly believe that you have the most profound understanding of yourself, and my job is to support you, offer gentle guidance, and collaborate with you to establish sustainable transformations in your life. My therapy sessions occur in a compassionate, inviting, and unjudgemental setting.

When addressing a task or obstacle, my approach involves a combination of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, DBT, motivational interviewing, and mindfulness. I believe in being honest and clear in my approach.

My strengths are essential to my mission of assisting individuals to live purposeful life regardless of their experiences. I am compassionate, optimistic, and genuinely invested in people's improvement. I approach every situation with an open-minded outlook, working collaboratively with individuals to help them identify their strengths.

Five stars without hesitation. She’s consistent, thoughtful, and straightforward in a way that builds trust. She listens deeply, makes me feel understood, and doesn’t shy away from honest feedback. Fifteen sessions in, I can confidently say I wouldn’t want another therapist.

To stop worrying about things I can’t change , forgive & forget etc . I like Leslie because, she listens & is very understanding. Also gives good feedback, my first session was great ! I can’t wait for more sessions & she made me feel very comfortable with this being my first time .
