I have over 35 years of experience working with individuals and families in crisis and providing marriage and couples counseling. Past experiences include working with military families for 10 years with the Department of Defense. I utilize Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Brief Solution-Focused Therapy. I encourage healthy communication and feedback from each family member using family systems therapy. I believe the healing process starts with the willingness to change, commitment, and consistency.
During the first session, I used a fun game to get to know you and for you to get to know me as well. As a process, we will continue to engage in solutions and goals for improvement and self-satisfaction. I will listen to you without judgment and challenge you if necessary when you hide your unique talents.
My approach is to demonstrate that I am human, just like you, but can use my experiences to assist you in making changes in your life. I will listen to you without judgment.
I love to share and communicate with couples, individuals, and families who seek assistance for their concerns and problems. If you have problems at home, at work, or within your family unit, I look forward to helping you. I focus on senior issues, crisis intervention, anxiety, and trauma.
