Hi! My name is Chloe and I am passionate about my work with others. I began my journey working with survivors of domestic violence and sexual assault. I worked with survivors of all ages and gender identities. I have expanded my journey to include working with clients experiencing a wide array of concerns, including anxiety, depression, relationship issues, infidelity, self-esteem, self-harm, and work-life balance. I welcome clients with concerns beyond those listed and am dedicated to increasing my knowledgeable so that I may effectively meet the needs of my clients.
Welcome — I know reaching out for therapy can feel overwhelming, especially if you’ve spent a long time feeling misunderstood, emotionally exhausted, stuck in unhealthy patterns, or unsure how to move forward.
Many of my clients come to therapy struggling with anxiety, emotional overwhelm, relationship stress, self-worth issues, attachment wounds, or feeling disconnected from themselves and the people around them. Some are navigating conflict, betrayal, burnout, identity concerns, or simply feeling “stuck” despite trying hard to hold everything together.
My goal is to create a space where you feel safe, supported, understood, and challenged in a healthy way. I take a compassionate but active approach to therapy — helping clients not only process emotions, but also understand their patterns, regulate their nervous system, and build practical tools for lasting change.
You do not have to figure everything out alone.

Hello! I’m so happy to share a little about myself. I am a licensed clinical social worker in Florida, and I care deeply about helping parents, birthing people, and families during important times in their lives. For the past 19 years, I have worked with people who are pregnant, have just had a baby, or are learning to be parents. I also support adults who are feeling anxious, sad, or stressed, or who are going through big changes in their lives. I want everyone I work with to feel seen, supported, and strong. I earned my Master’s degree from the University of Central Florida, and I am certified in Perinatal Mental Health (PMH-C) through Postpartum Support International. This means I have special training to help people through pregnancy, postpartum, and early parenting. It is such an honor to see people grow, heal, and become more confident and connected with themselves and their families.
I believe everyone has the ability to find their strength and wellness. Sometimes it takes a little extra support to get you there and that is where I come in. With almost two decades of experience in the field, we will work together as a team to reach your goals. There is no timeframe to reach these goals and we will get there at your speed. I treat therapy like you are driving a car, you choose the direction and speed while I act as GPS and help guide the path.

Hello! I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. I received my undergraduate degree from Cornell University and my Masters of Social Work from the State University of New York at Buffalo. I have been working in the field for many years and have helped many individuals facing a variety of life challenges to make positive changes and lead their best life. I am looking forward to working with you!
As a counselor, I believe that healing begins with understanding — both of ourselves and of the patterns that shape how we live, think, and feel.
My approach is person-centered, strength-based, and compassionate. I deeply believe in meeting clients where they are, and I honor the pace at which each person is ready to move. Growth takes time, and every step forward is meaningful. I hold the belief that we each already carry the strength, wisdom, and resilience we need within us — sometimes we just need help uncovering it. By gently shifting away from unhelpful patterns and learning to embrace more empowering ways of thinking and being, we make room for courage, clarity, and transformation.
Most importantly, I want clients to know that this deep and necessary inner work doesn't have to be done alone. As a counselor, my goal is to walk alongside you — with honesty, care, and encouragement — as you navigate life’s challenges and rediscover what’s possible for you.

Hi, I’m Shari. With more than 26 years of experience as a licensed mental health counselor, I believe every person has inherent worth that exists beyond their struggles, diagnoses, or life circumstances. At the heart of my practice is a commitment to seeing people through mercy and grace, recognizing dignity beyond dysfunction, strength alongside suffering, and hope even in life's most difficult seasons. These principles shape how I understand each client's story and guide the therapeutic relationship we build together.
I recognize that many of the ways people cope with anxiety, trauma, grief, or life's challenges began as creative ways to survive difficult circumstances. Rather than defining people by their symptoms or past experiences, I seek to understand their unique story, honor the resilience that has carried them this far, and help them build healthier patterns that support lasting healing and growth.
I also believe spirituality is a source of meaning, hope, and resilience that is distinct from religious beliefs or practices. Whether you identify as religious, spiritual, both, or neither, I respect your values and will thoughtfully incorporate them into therapy only if they are important to you.
My approach is collaborative, client-centered, and evidence-based. Whether you're navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, caregiver stress, chronic illness, relationship challenges, or major life transitions, my goal is to help you gain insight, build practical coping skills, and reconnect with your strengths so you can move toward a more meaningful and fulfilling life.
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in Florida with 4 years of experience supporting people through crisis, major life transitions, and the process of healing from trauma. My background includes working closely with veterans, adolescents, and trauma-impacted individuals, which has given me a deep appreciation for the unique challenges and strengths that each person brings to therapy. I use a strengths-based and client-centered approach, focusing on resilience and building on what is already working well in a client’s life. In our sessions, my goal is to create a safe, compassionate space where clients feel heard, supported, and empowered to make meaningful changes. I believe therapy is a collaborative journey, and I strive to walk alongside clients as they discover new coping strategies, heal from past experiences, and move toward personal growth and well-being.
Hello! Does it seem overwhelming to be searching for a therapist for yourself? I get it! My name is Sonja (rhymes with "lasagna"). I enjoyed working with children and their families for 15 years, and then I transitioned to the medical field, where I was blessed to continue my professional growth within a variety of settings. My husband and I have one spoiled dog, Bo, a boxer-hound mix, who brings lots of laughs to our home.
My specialties include working with adults (age 18+) dealing with symptoms of anxiety and/or depression, grief, and life transitions. I love to help people, and I usually incorporate some humor into sessions, because sometimes you just need to laugh! I utilize a positive approach and will ask for something positive since our last session each time we meet. I believe that is a life skill
NOTE: You must be in a setting that is private and has stable internet for our telehealth sessions. I do not meet with people while they are driving, but if you need to sit in your car for privacy, for example, that is fine.
Hi. I'm Gloria, LMHC in the FL State.
Are you feeling overwhelmed by anxiety, depression, grief, or major life transitions? Are relationship difficulties, parenting stress, or past experiences affecting your ability to feel balanced and confident? You are not alone. I work with adults, adolescents, and families navigating mood concerns, grief and loss, trauma-related stress, cultural adjustment, behavioral challenges, and relationship conflicts. Whether you are coping with the death of a loved one, a significant life change, or ongoing emotional strain, therapy can provide a structured and supportive space to process and stabilize.
My approach is compassionate, practical, and goal-oriented. Together, we focus on strengthening emotional regulation, improving communication, and building coping strategies that promote resilience and clarity. I offer services in English and Spanish and work collaboratively to help you move toward meaningful and sustainable growth.
Depression, anxiety, grief, and trauma can feel heavy and deeply lonely. You may be carrying more than others can see. These experiences are deeply human, and you do not have to face them alone. Whether you feel ready for change or are still unsure, I offer a compassionate space where your voice matters and healing can begin at your own pace.
Hello, I’m so happy you’re here. My name is Nisha and I am a Psychotherapist who is fully licensed in mental health counseling. I am also the founder of Therapy Island, a global sanctuary dedicated to healing and growth. If you are a determined individual standing at the crossroads of change, grappling with feelings of dissatisfaction and unfulfillment in various aspects of your life, then you have come to the right place. I am here to serve as a guide to assist you as you navigate through life’s challenges.
I’m an Army Veteran and Licensed Mental Health Counselor with over 20 years of experience supporting military personnel and first responders facing challenges such as PTSD, depression, and anxiety. My practice is rooted in trauma resolution, and I’m trained in The Cortina Method—a cutting-edge brain optimization technique designed to address trauma, self-limiting beliefs, chronic pain, substance abuse, and unresolved guilt. For decades, our culture has carried a harmful assumption: that trauma breaks people. That if you’ve lived through something overwhelming—combat, assault, childhood adversity, medical emergencies, disasters—you are somehow permanently damaged. But that narrative is not only wrong; it is dangerous. This belief creates shame. It isolates survivors. It teaches people to hide their pain instead of seeking support. And it reduces a person’s entire identity to their hardest moment. I am here to challenge that status quo.
Please note my no show policy: A "no show" to your session means that you are more than 15 minutes late. If you notify me via message that you need to cancel, I am happy to waive the no show fee, but, you must message me first. If I log onto your appointment and you do not show up within 15 minutes and I have not recived any message from you, I will charge the no show fee of $60. Habitual no shows will result in termination of therapy.
Thank you for visiting my page! I am Mario, a licensed therapist in Florida. I offer counseling via telehealth and I have flexible hours throughout the week. I have worked in the mental health field since my junior year of college, and I'm not burnt out yet! I find my work rewarding and I look forward to helping you.
I work primarily with individuals. If you are seeking family therapy, please reach out and we can discuss your family's/couple's needs on a case-by-case basis.
*I am available many hours throughout the week, but not all of my openings are reflected on my calendar here. If you wish to inquire about session times you don't see listed, please reach out through the Grow Therapy contact line, 646-687-9932.
Hi there!
You’ve come to the right place if you’re feeling stuck, tired of repeating the same old patterns in your life or relationships, or longing for something deeper, a happier, more meaningful life. Maybe you’ve tried changing before and felt afraid or unsure of how to move forward. I see you, and you’re not alone.
I’m new to Grow, but I bring years of experience as a therapist working with individuals from all walks of life; different ages, backgrounds, and diagnoses. Clients often describe me as down-to-earth, approachable, and supportive, while also challenging them to see things in new ways. I became a therapist because I believe everyone deserves the chance to create the life they want, and no one should feel like they have to do it alone.
In our sessions, you’ll find a warm and collaborative space. I’ll meet you where you are, help you uncover what truly matters to you, and start making real change right away. You’ll leave our first meeting with practical tools you can begin using immediately, and daily “homework” to keep the progress going.
***Now accepting new clients.
A lifelong student of human behavior, I completed a Bachelor's degree in Pychology in 1993, and a Master's of Counseling Psychology degree in 2004. Through the years I have studied areas like vagus nerve impact on health outcomes, trauma resolution, meditation and mindfulness practices and the effects of nature and sound on phisiology. I am an integrative practitioner, using a multi modal orientation to understand you as a complete being. I draw from Attachment theory, Family Systems theory and Adverse Childhood Experiences research to identify early life challenges. I find the Gottman method and Cognitive Behavioral Couples Therapy useful with many couples who want to attend sessions together, and more exploratory frameworks such as Humanistic and Transpersonal theories useful for solo growth and development.
In session I have a collaborative style that is informed by both intuition and 3 decades of studying various evidence based approaches. We will identify your strengths, your concerns, your interests and goals and then make a plan. After defining the areas of your life you wish to work on, I will accompany you on your path toward your highest and most healthy self as a guide and resource for support when it is growth oriented. We will stop where you choose to stop, whether it is with the immediate problem/s resolution or continuing into a more complex and transformational understanding of Self, and where that may lead you.

Do you feel tired or have little energy or so restless that it is hard to sit still and relax? Are you easily annoyed or irritable? If you answer yes to any or all of these questions, then you may be experiencing some depression and anxiety. But I have good news for you! Hello! I'm a Licensed Clinical Social Worker based in Florida. I am originally from Philadelphia , PA, so I have come to enjoy Florida’s climate. I came to Florida via the military. I am retired military and after serving for twenty-four years, I felt compelled to redirect my life toward caring for others in a more personal and meaningful way. I decided that clinical therapy would best tie into my natural and learned abilities as well as my desire to help people. I earned my Master of Social Work from the University Of Southern California with a primary focus in Children, Youth, and Families. I chose this focus because I believe every aspect of the family is important from the individual to the couple and family with children, and in many cases, the extended family. I am EMDR trained. I am also certified to work with all anxiety disorders. I have extensive experience working with neurotypical and neurodivergent clients living with substance abuse, anxiety, depression, and trauma.

My work encompasses individuals navigating trauma, anxiety, ADHD, depression, manage or improve addictive behavior, emotional dysregulation and life transitions (including women's issues). My work is informed by formal training in EMDR as well as, traditional talk therapy with a strong foundation in CBT and DBT—but therapy with me isn’t about rigid techniques or worksheets for the sake of it.
I focus on helping clients understand why patterns exist, not just how to manage symptoms. EMDR allows us to work at the root level and utilize the integration of traditional talk therapy with CBT and DBT. Cognitive and Dialectical behavioral therapies provide practical tools for navigating daily life such as, mindfulness practices and working to defeat cognitive distortions that impact our relationships. I integrate these approaches thoughtfully, adapting the work to the person in front of me rather than forcing a one-size-fits-all model.
Clients often describe my style as direct, solution focused, collaborative, and grounded. The bond that is created between us is the most important, and I believe meaningful change happens when therapy feels both safe, person centered and honest—where insight leads to action, and healing is something we actively build together.
As your therapist, I’ll support you in navigating anxiety, depression, and trauma with compassion and real-world tools. Together, we’ll uncover what helps you feel grounded, empowered, and whole. My approach is individualized and authentic; blending warmth, honesty, and care to help you strengthen your overall well-being while staying true to who you are.
You deserve to feel like your best self-- not someday, but starting now. Therapy is a brave step, and I’d be honored to walk that journey with you.
