Hi! I am a mental health therapist with a passion for helping individuals navigate life's challenges with resilience and confidence. I specialize in working with adults over the age of 18 and college students, but I have worked with all ages. I believe that every person possesses the inner strength to overcome obstacles and achieve their full potential, and I am committed to being your guide on this transformative journey. I believe in the power of collaboration and empathy. I work to create a warm, non-judgmental space where clients can openly explore their thoughts, feelings, and concerns.
In our first session, we will spend time getting to know one another and finding specific goals you may want to work on. If you are struggling to identify these goals, we will explore this more deeply through conversation. As we move forward, I typically allow the session to flow organically. I will follow up where needed and allow you to discuss what you feel deserves space in session. We will work together to find solutions, tools, and skills that will work best for you.
I am here to guide you with compassion, expertise, and unwavering support. With a client-centered approach, I customize treatment that aligns with each individual's unique needs and goals. I enjoy utilizing holistic and experiential techniques to bring you greater understanding of yourself. I believe in being genuine and authentic so that you can be vulnerable in a non-judgmental space. Together, we can embark on a path towards greater emotional well-being and a more fulfilling life.
I primarily work with ages 18-40, college students, adults experiencing life transitions, those struggling with anxiety, depression, or emotional dysregulation, and much more. I enjoy working with clients who want to define goals, wants, needs, fulfillment, identity, and the Self. I enjoy working with clients who are open to a collaborative process, experiential techniques, and a natural, conversational therapeutic environment.
Person-centered (Rogerian)
I believe everyone has the potential for growth, and I provide empathy, genuinesness, and unconditional positive regard to help us find solutions together. This helps promote self-discovery and self-esteem.
Mindfulness-Based Therapy
I utilize a variety of mindfulness-based techniques to help create awareness of self, manage anxiety, and calm the nervous system. I pull from somatic techniques, as well as more structured techniques such as mindfulness-based cognitive behavioral therapy.
Existential
I utilize existential therapy to ponder the difficult questions that sometimes cause us anxiety. We can explore these questions with compassion and hopefully create acceptance, if not greater understanding. This can look like defining what is meaningful in one's life, discussing death, and/or defining what makes up who we are as individuals.
Motivational Interviewing
I utilize motivational interviewing to assist patient in identifying change and promote a growth mindset. This can look like asking the 'why' of our want or need to change and grow.

As someone who is a therapist themselves, Victoria really is great at still treating me like a client and not expecting me to also have all the answers. The space always feels like my own and I am free to be as expressive as I need well also being trusted to find my inner wisdom with some helpful guidance when I struggle too. She also provides great resources when needed!
