Hello, my name is Sheila (she/her/ella), and I am a Cuban-born Family Therapist, specializing in trauma and relationships. I hold national certification as a Trauma Specialist and have extensive experience working with individuals of all ages. I also have experience working with couples, families and separated families. I use a variety of different approaches depending on the client's request.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

I offer a 30 min. free session in order to evaluate your needs, and determine if we are a good fit. After that, you can expect our first session to be a more in depth getting to know each other session, as well as going over what to expect from the process. Here we will also work collaboratively in how to proceed with treatment

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

My greatest strengths as a provider are my empathy skills, my past life experiences that provide me with more in depth understanding of yours, and my charismatic personality. I also speak Spanish, and have in depth knowledge of different cultural backgrounds.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

I love working with people who are dedicated to their healing journey. My ideal client('s) are always eager to improve, and flexible. Right now they might be feeling stuck, anxious, not valued, overwhelmed, unable to reach their fullest potential, or struggling with a connection/relationship.
