Hi, I’m Kelly. I specialize in in-person therapy for adults affected by trauma, chronic stress, painful early experiences, and persistent self-blame. My goal is not to push you into retelling everything that has happened or to rush you through a predetermined process. We begin by understanding what you are experiencing now, what you need, and what would help you feel safe enough to move forward. My style is warm, grounded, and collaborative. I believe meaningful change begins when you feel respected rather than judged, understood rather than analyzed, and supported rather than pressured. Trauma can affect more than your thoughts. It may influence your emotions, relationships, body, sleep, concentration, sense of safety, and ability to trust yourself. Because of this, I work with both the mind and the nervous system. I am certified in EMDR and may also incorporate parts-informed therapy, mindfulness, DBT skills, Brainspotting, Accelerated Resolution Therapy, Emotional Freedom Techniques, and early-trauma approaches. When appropriate, I also offer supportive technologies such as LENS Neurofeedback, Alpha-Stim, and bilateral stimulation devices. These methods are not used simply because they are available, and no single approach is right for everyone. Together, we will decide what feels appropriate, what does not, and how quickly we move. You remain an active participant in your care. My hope is to help you understand the ways you learned to survive, reduce the hold that painful experiences have on your present life, and build a steadier and more compassionate relationship with yourself. You do not need to have the perfect words or know exactly where to begin. We can begin with what is happening right now.
The first session is an opportunity for us to meet, discuss what is bringing you to therapy, and begin identifying what you would like to change. You will not be expected to disclose every detail of your trauma or begin intensive processing immediately. We will talk about your concerns, your history at a pace that feels manageable, and the approaches I may recommend. I will also answer your questions so that we can decide together whether working with one another feels like the right fit.
I enjoy helping people to reconnect with themselves. I also enjoy helping them to learn how to navigate their emotional lives. I believe in utilizing the Mind-Body connection to help my clients grow and heal. I believe in thinking outside of the box. I will tailor my approach to fit your needs. I am a lifelong learner and enjoy finding new, innovative ways to help people in my work.
I work with adults who feel overwhelmed, emotionally stuck, constantly on alert, disconnected from themselves, or weighed down by painful experiences from the past. You may struggle with anxiety, self-blame, relationship patterns, emotional numbness, or difficulty feeling safe, even when life appears stable. Therapy can help you understand these patterns, reconnect with yourself, and begin creating a calmer, more grounded way of living each day.

EMDR is a highly effective modality for rapid resolution of issues. EMDR is an evidenced based treatment for PTSD, Depression, Anxiety Disorders, Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder (OCD) and related disorders, Eating Disorders, Personality Disorders, Dissociative Disorders, Phobias, Acute Stress Disorder and Adjustment Disorder, and Somatic Symptoms and Medically Unexplained symptoms.
I use LENS Neurofeedback as a bottom-up approach to help you with calming down your nervous system and to help you to optimize your progress.
I use DBT interventions to help you to develop coping skills to use in every day life. DBT is useful for improving emotional regulation.
I use Mindfulness therapy to help you to improve your relationship to your emotional life.

I found Kelly on my insurance's search. I gravitated to her because she said she likes to get to the root of problems instead of just treating the symptoms. She seemed to stick to her description of her treatment approach and I believe that this will become more evident over time! Overall great experience!

Kelly Jaworski is kind, warm, and non-judgmental. She creates a safe space that encourages you to be your authentic self. What makes her stand out is how she empowers you to trust yourself, rather than just teaching you to follow her lead. Her support is uplifting, genuine, and helps you leave each session feeling stronger and more confident.

Kelly has been a tremendous help in this mental health journey I've been going through and I would recommend her services to anyone. Compassionate, down to Earth, and generally just a wonderful and highly skilled therapist. I've been to many therapists in my life and Kelly has been my favorite one.
