I am a believer that compassion is a necessary ingredient for growth. I believe in utilizing the Mind-Body connection to help my clients grow and heal. I believe in thinking outside of the box. I will tailor my approach to fit your needs. I am a lifelong learner and enjoy finding new, innovative ways to help people in my work. I work with adults and adolescents. I offer traditional talk therapy, EMDR, Direct neurofeedback, Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART) somatic work, Mindful Self-compassion techniques, Relaxation Techniques, Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT tapping), Mindfulness, and Dialectical Behavior Therapy skills. I have experience with trauma, mood issues, life changes, and substance use disorders.

In the first session, we will discuss what you are struggling with along with my treatment approach. We will make the decision collaboratively as to whether we will be a good fit together.

EMDR

EMDR is a highly effective modality for rapid resolution of issues. EMDR is an evidenced based treatment for PTSD, Depression, Anxiety Disorders, Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder (OCD) and related disorders, Eating Disorders, Personality Disorders, Dissociative Disorders, Phobias, Acute Stress Disorder and Adjustment Disorder, and Somatic Symptoms and Medically Unexplained symptoms.

Neurofeedback

I use Direct Neurofeedback as a bottom-up approach to help you with calming down your nervous system and to help you to optimize your progress.

Dialectical Behavior (DBT)

I use DBT interventions to help you to develop coping skills to use in every day life. DBT is useful for improving emotional regulation.

Mindfulness-Based Therapy

I use Mindfulness therapy to help you to improve your relationship to your emotional life.
