I provide compassionate, high-quality care grounded in respect, clinical knowledge, and a deep understanding of trauma. Many individuals face emotional challenges like anxiety, depression, or anger that interfere with daily functioning — often rooted in unresolved trauma or chronic stress. My goal is to support you or your loved ones in improving your quality of life and emotional well-being. I specialize in trauma-focused therapy and use evidence-based approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), and Trauma-Focused CBT (TF-CBT). I also offer Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) therapy when appropriate. EMDR can be a powerful tool for healing PTSD and does not require ongoing therapy outside of EMDR sessions unless desired. I strive to make therapy approachable and comfortable, offering a calm, welcoming space where clients feel seen and supported. Whether you’re navigating life stressors, recovering from trauma, or just need someone to talk to — I’m here to walk alongside you in your healing journey.
In our first session, we'll begin with a brief introduction to get to know each other, followed by the intake process. This is a chance for me to gather essential information about your background, current challenges, and goals, which will help us create a tailored approach for your healing journey. We'll also discuss your expectations and any concerns you might have, ensuring that you feel comfortable and supported as we begin our work together. The goal is to establish a strong foundation for a collaborative and effective therapeutic relationship.
I find great fulfillment in working with trauma, as well as depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, and dissociative disorders, because I have the privilege of witnessing the profound, positive changes individuals experience. It's incredibly rewarding to be part of their transformation. My approach goes beyond simply addressing symptoms—I'm committed to empowering clients with the tools and mindset needed to build a better, more fulfilling life. I work closely with each individual to help them not only heal but also grow, develop resilience, and discover their inner strength. Together, we focus on creating lasting change, improving emotional regulation, and fostering a sense of meaning and purpose. My goal is to guide clients toward long-term well-being, helping them thrive in all areas of their lives.
I specialize in trauma and PTSD and am a trained EMDR therapist. With a solid background in working with individuals struggling with depression and anxiety, I offer personalized tools and techniques to help clients cope, heal, and recover. My approach is client-centered, focusing on building resilience and emotional well-being, while guiding individuals toward lasting transformation and inner strength. I aim to create a safe, supportive space where healing can take place at its own pace.
I have extensive experience using EMDR to help clients process trauma and emotional challenges. This method uses bilateral stimulation, like guided eye movements, to reduce the emotional charge of distressing memories and help clients reframe negative beliefs. In my practice, I use EMDR to safely process traumatic memories, reduce emotional triggers, and build resilience, empowering clients to heal and move forward with healthier coping strategies.
I have extensive experience using CBT to help clients identify and challenge negative thought patterns and behaviors. In my practice, I use CBT to reframe unhelpful thoughts, teach coping skills, encourage healthier behaviors, and improve problem-solving, empowering clients to create lasting change and better manage emotional challenges.
I use Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT) to help clients process trauma by identifying and challenging unhelpful thoughts like guilt or self-blame. In my practice, I guide clients to reframe these distorted beliefs, promoting healing and healthier perspectives on their experiences.
I use Trauma-Informed Care to create a safe, supportive environment where clients feel heard and respected. This approach focuses on recognizing the impact of trauma, empowering clients in their healing process, and tailoring treatment to their unique needs, ensuring they feel in control and supported throughout.
I use couple counseling to help partners improve communication, resolve conflicts, and strengthen emotional connections. My approach focuses on creating a safe space for open dialogue, addressing underlying issues, and developing healthier relationship patterns to foster mutual respect and empathy.
