What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

I will create a welcoming, open atmosphere right from the start. Then I will normalize the client’s feelings of nervousness, clarify the purpose of the session, and emphasize that the process is collaborative, with the client’s comfort and needs at the forefront. As a therapist it’s my job to make it clear that the client can speak freely and that the therapist is there to help them navigate the challenges they’re facing. Moreover, creates an environment of acceptance, where my client feels more comfortable, supported, and ready to explore solutions. Overall, I want them to be comfortable and be themselves in the session as I bring sense of humor.

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

In CBT, the therapist and client work collaboratively to identify negative or unhelpful thought patterns and replace them with more balanced and constructive ways of thinking. I cut or modify a treatment method in a way that is specifically tailored to the client’s needs, the goal is often to enhance the effectiveness of therapy and improve the client's outcomes. As a clinicicans ,I want my clients feel more empowered and confident in their ability to handle future challenges independently, reducing the likelihood of relapse after therapy ends. I will provide a supportive environment where individuals can address these challenges with the help of a trained professional. My practice in CBT will offer relief, insight, coping strategies, and tools to improve a person’s mental health and overall well-being.

Dialectical Behavior (DBT)

he primary goal of DBT is to help clients manage intense emotions, improve interpersonal relationships, and develop a greater sense of stability and self-acceptance. DBT is especially effective for clients who experience emotional dysregulation, impulsivity, self-destructive behaviors, and difficulty managing stress. My goal as a therapist is providing clients with practical tools, emotional validation, and ongoing support, DBT enables them to meet their emotional, relational, and psychological needs, leading to greater overall well-being and a more fulfilling life . In addition, utilizing DBT has taught client in my experiences how to regulate their emotions, learn interpersonal effectiveness skills, distress tolerance, and mindfulness . In my experiences DBT has provide effective coping mechanisms to reach clients needs.
