New to Grow
I’m a Licensed Mental Health Counselor passionate about helping individuals and couples heal, grow, and reconnect with their purpose. I work with clients navigating anxiety, trauma, addiction, relationship challenges, and major life transitions. My approach blends evidence-based methods with compassion and authenticity, creating a space where you feel safe, seen, and supported. Frank Lloyd Wright once said, "I know the price of success: dedication, hard work, and an unremitting devotion to the things you want to see happen." That belief grounds my work. I bring a set of clinical skills and life experience to our sessions, offering you the tools, insight, and support to grow. Draw from my knowledge, and let’s move forward, together.
Our first session is about building comfort and clarity. We’ll talk about what’s bringing you to therapy, explore what’s been weighing on you, and identify what you’d like to shift or heal. I’ll listen without judgment, offer insight, and collaborate with you to begin crafting a path forward. You don’t have to have it all figured out, just show up as you are, and we’ll take it from there.
What sets my work apart is my ability to hold space with honesty, warmth, and purpose. I integrate evidence-based approaches like Solution-Focused, CBT, DBT, and person-centered therapy while tailoring every session to your unique needs. With experience in trauma recovery, addiction treatment, faith-based integration, and relational healing, I help clients move from survival mode to grounded, intentional living. I bring both clinical depth and human connection into each session, inviting growth, clarity, and sustainable change
My ideal clients are deeply self-aware or striving to be. They may feel stuck, anxious, or emotionally drained, often juggling trauma, high-functioning burnout, relationship wounds, or questions of identity and faith. They're ready to do the work: to heal, grow, and break cycles that no longer serve them. Whether they’re navigating early recovery, rediscovering themselves after loss, or building healthier boundaries, they want therapy that’s both emotionally attuned and grounded in practical tools. If you’re someone who values honesty, depth, and purpose; I’m here to walk with you.
I use DBT to help clients develop practical tools for emotional regulation, distress tolerance, and healthier communication. In our work together, I integrate DBT skills into real-life situations, especially for clients navigating anxiety, trauma responses, or relationship struggles. Whether we're exploring triggers or building better boundaries, DBT offers a grounding structure that supports clients in shifting from emotional reactivity to intentional response. My goal is to help you feel more in control, balanced, and able to pause before reacting, so you can make choices that align with your values.
I use CBT to help clients identify the unhelpful thought patterns that fuel anxiety, shame, or self-sabotage. Together, we uncover the connections between thoughts, emotions, and behaviors, then practice reframing those patterns with healthier, more empowering perspectives. CBT is especially helpful for clients who want practical tools to manage intrusive thoughts, set boundaries, and shift their inner dialogue toward growth.
At the heart of my approach is a strong therapeutic relationship grounded in trust, honesty, and unconditional positive regard. I use Person-Centered Therapy to create a safe, supportive space where clients feel seen, heard, and respected. This method honors your autonomy, your pace, and your voice, helping you reconnect with your inner wisdom and make meaningful changes that align with who you truly are.
I use ACT to help clients break free from the pressure to "fix" every thought or feeling and instead focus on creating a life aligned with their values. Together, we build mindfulness skills, identify what truly matters to you, and take intentional action, even when emotions feel uncomfortable. ACT helps shift from avoidance to acceptance, and from fear to freedom.
For clients who wish to explore therapy through a faith-based lens, I integrate Christian values and spiritual reflection into our work. This approach honors your beliefs while addressing emotional wounds, helping you find healing, purpose, and direction rooted in both faith and clinical care.
