About me

I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over ten years of experience working in schools, hospitals, inpatients and outpatient care. I am passionate about supporting women and teens through life’s transitions. I specialize in helping adolescents navigate self-esteem and anxiety challenges. I walk alongside young adults going through the challenges college can bring. I also work with women during pregnancy, postpartum, and the early stages of motherhood when emotions can feel overwhelming. My approach blends compassion with practical tools like CBT and DBT, so clients feel both understood and empowered. Together, we’ll create space where your voice matters and you can find balance, healing, and confidence in your daily life.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

In our first few sessions, we’ll focus on getting to know you and what’s most important in your life right now. I’ll introduce how CBT and DBT can help, and together we’ll start identifying patterns that may be keeping you stuck. Together, we will create a starting point you can feel confident about.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

What sets my approach apart is that therapy with me is collaborative, culturally aware, and rooted in real-life solutions that honor who you are. I blend evidence-based methods like CBT and DBT with an understanding of your unique experiences, identity, and strengths. Goal is helping you not just cope, but thrive.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

I understand how overwhelming life can feel at different stages, whether you’re a child learning how to manage big feelings, a teenager trying to find your place, or a college student carrying the weight of expectations. I provide a safe, supportive space where young people can open up, feel heard, and build the skills they need to thrive. For moms and women facing the challenges of pregnancy, postpartum changes, or simply the stress of daily responsibilities, I offer tools and support to help you find balance and care for yourself. My goal is to meet you where you are, honor your experiences, and walk alongside you as you move toward healing, growth, and confidence.

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

In my practice, I use CBT in a supportive, step-by-step way that feels less like “homework” and more like discovering what actually works for you. Together, we’ll: -Identify unhelpful thought patterns that trigger stress or negative emotions. -Learn simple strategies to reframe those thoughts and create healthier perspectives. -Practice new coping skills you can apply in daily life, at work, at home, or in relationships.

Dialectical Behavior (DBT)

With DBT, I expand those tools of CBT by adding mindfulness, distress tolerance, emotion regulation, and interpersonal effectiveness skills. These skills are especially helpful for managing intense emotions, building healthier relationships, and finding balance during difficult times. On telehealth, CBT and DBT work seamlessly. You’ll meet from the comfort of your own environment while still receiving structured, goal-oriented support. I provide interactive tools, worksheets, and guided exercises during sessions, so you will walk away with something practical to apply in your daily life. Together, these approaches help reduce stress, improve emotional balance, and strengthen resilience. My style is supportive and collaborative.
