I help couples and individuals to navigate turbulent times to find their innate vitality and loving relationships. As a couples therapist, I can help you move beyond patterns of arguing and conflict. Hi! My name is Damaris, a licensed mental health counselor. As a therapist, I believe that healing happens in safe, supportive relationships—and my goal is to create a space where you feel truly seen and heard. With 10 years of experience working in private practice, community mental health, substance use treatment and other community settings, I bring a compassionate and collaborative approach to the work we do together.
Many of my clients are women and teen girls (12 and up) who are high-functioning on the outside but feel exhausted, anxious, or disconnected on the inside. You may be managing work, school, relationships, or caregiving while internally feeling overwhelmed, stuck in overthinking, or like you’re running on empty.
If you’re someone who’s tried to “figure it out” on your own or learned coping skills in therapy before but still find yourself falling into the same patterns, you’re not alone. Many of the women I work with come in feeling frustrated that insight hasn’t translated into real change.
In our work together, we focus on getting to the root of what’s keeping you stuck in cycles like burnout, over-functioning, people-pleasing, and difficulty setting boundaries. Instead of just managing symptoms, we work to understand and shift what’s driving them so the change actually lasts.
A key part of this process involves working with your nervous system—not just your thoughts. You may already understand what’s going on logically, but still feel it in your body and day-to-day life. We focus on helping your system feel safer, more grounded, and less reactive so you can begin to break those automatic cycles and respond in new ways.
I integrate EMDR, somatic approaches, attachment-based therapy, TF-CBT, and experiential work to support both emotional processing and practical change. The goal is to help you move from insight into real, sustainable shifts in how you feel, relate, and show up in your life.
Sessions are collaborative and paced so you don’t feel rushed or overwhelmed. The goal is to help you feel more grounded, emotionally steady, and connected to yourself and your relationships.
I also offer trauma intensives for self-pay clients who want deeper, focused work in a shorter period of time.

I believe that each one of us has the answers to our problems inside of us. However, sometimes we need someone on our journey to help us unlock those answers by asking the right questions---things you may not have considered, presenting proven strategies, and psychoeducation. Although, you will make strides with the energy and effort you give, the number one predictor that one will improve is the quality of the therapeutic relationship. I hope to provide a place of warmth, compassion, and acceptance in which you feel empowered and free to approach any concerns. I am here to help you along on your journey.
I am a licensed mental health counselor in Arizona, Florida, Massachusetts, Nevada, New Hampshire, New Jersey, and Utah. I graduated from Florida Atlantic University with an Educational Specialist degree in Mental Health Counseling. I also earned a Master's of Art from Roosevelt University. I also apply Dialectical Behavioral Therapy and Motivational Interviewing Techniques as needed. I address trauma, depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, interpersonal skills, self-esteem, anger, problem-solving, and decision-making. In conjunction with therapy, I believe that exercise, proper nutrition, and good sleep hygiene are an integral part of overcoming mental health concerns.
Change, even positive change can be challenging and uncomfortable. I hope to provide the necessary support as a champion of change.

I believe we are all unique individuals living through different experiences. My goal is to help you navigate through the darkness so you can live the life you want, acquiring the coping skills and tools needed along the way.
You are more than your trauma, Inner childhood wounds, and the labels placed on you.
Let's work together!
I'm looking forward to meeting you!
I’m a Licensed Mental Health Counselor dedicated to helping individuals move from overwhelm and self-doubt into clarity, confidence, and emotional stability. I work with clients experiencing anxiety, depression, relationship stress, attachment wounds, low self-esteem, and major life transitions. Many of the people I support are high-functioning individuals who appear “put together” on the outside but feel exhausted, anxious, or lost internally. They are often navigating complex emotions, difficult patterns, or uncertainty about their direction in life.
My therapeutic style blends warmth, structure, and deep insight. My goal is to help you understand yourself on a deeper level—your patterns, beliefs, triggers, and needs—so that you can begin creating real and lasting change. I offer a calm, nonjudgmental space where you can process your emotions openly while learning practical skills to manage stress, regulate your nervous system, and build healthier boundaries and relationships.
I believe therapy should be both supportive and empowering. Together, we’ll explore the “why” behind your patterns while also building the “how” of moving forward. I help clients reconnect with their strengths, reframe limiting beliefs, and develop tools that promote emotional balance and self-trust.
Whether you’re navigating heartbreak, burnout, uncertainty, or simply wanting to understand yourself better, I’m here to guide you with compassion and clarity. My goal is to help you feel grounded, capable, and in control of your life again.
Hi! I'm Dorian.
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) based in Florida - a Jax native with a recent move south to the Space Coast. I received my Masters of Social Work from Florida State University in 2014 focusing on clinical social work.
I approach therapy with flexibility and adaptability, focusing on what will best align with you, the client. But, of note, I do so very casually, honestly, conversationally, and course, hilariously (the latter, though subjective, has been confirmed. By me.) . Opening yourself up to therapy can be intimidating! A bit scary! But there's no requirement stating you must dread it.
Through my views on mental health, self help, and all kinds of therapy - combined with, well, my personality - it seems that I've become adept at a sort of "stealth therapy." Admittedly self-defined, I'd best explain this by saying that sessions are conversational, instead of a "traditional" therapist-role to client-role back and forth.
Just kidding. But, I approach therapy in a way I . I don't speak in riddles, and I won't pretend that I know you better than you know you. I listen, I hear your words -- your input has value and I will never dismiss you or your concerns.
Thank you for taking time to learn a little about me. I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor and Certified Addictions Professional with over 28 years of counseling experience in clinical, private and educational settings. I practice Client-centered therapy. For those who are unfamiliar with Client-centered therapy it is based on the practice that the CLIENT is best able to decide what to explore and mark as a goal of treatment. I empower all my clients without compromising empathy. Whatever the reason any individual, couple, or family comes to me, I challenge their skillset to solve problems and restore resolve; not simply provide short-term solutions. The first step to achieve this is to build a rapport with essential empathy and unconditional positive regard.
I believe in relationships. Seems a little elementary but one's physical, mental, and overall wellness is dependent on relations that we have with each other. No matter how large or small one's family is, and/or social circle we were all meant to establish and grow relationships. No level of true self-reflection would escape this fact. I witnessed this to be true in all of my clients as with myself.
I currently reside Central Florida with my wife, son, and three daughters. As a family we enjoy an active lifestyle supportive of one another and the family dynamic.
I welcome the opportunity to work with you, feel free to contact me if you have any questions.

Welcome, I’m Sam Moglen, a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist providing therapy for individuals throughout California via online sessions. If you’re feeling overwhelmed by grief, anxiety, depression, or relationship challenges, you don’t have to navigate it alone. Therapy can help you feel more grounded, more connected, and more at ease in your daily life. My approach is warm, collaborative, and attuned to your nervous system. I integrate EMDR, somatic therapy, and nervous system-based approaches to help you process difficult experiences and shift patterns that no longer serve you. Rather than just talking about problems, we’ll gently work with both your thoughts and your body’s responses so you can experience lasting change, not just temporary relief.
Because I believe mental healthcare should be accessible and affordable, my self-pay rate is now $100/session. I also maintain a limited number of appointments at $85/session for individuals with additional financial need. Please contact me to request either of these options: www.atlanticpsychotherapyllc.com

It’s been a privilege to work for more than twenty years as a therapist and clinical social worker. I’ve had the honor of walking alongside my clients and bearing witness to some of their most life-changing and difficult experiences as they navigate changes in mental health, sense of self, relationships, and quality of life.
About Me:
I am a licensed clinical social worker (LCSW) and board certified diplomate (BCD) in clinical social work. I have masters (MSW) and doctorate (Ph.D.) degrees in social work and am a qualified clinical supervisor.
I began my career as a therapist in 2005 at a psychiatric hospital working with individuals experiencing severe mental illness. Since then I have provided individual, group, and family therapy to adults and adolescents in community health centers, IOP/PHP programs, and private practices. I also supervised medical and doctoral students in pro-bono clinics and worked on contracts with Corrections and Healthy Start. I currently own and operate Atlantic Psychotherapy, LLC.
My therapeutic approach and interventions also reflect my work as an assistant professor/instructor and researcher between 2015 - 2025. My research explored treatment interventions and the lived experiences of bipolar disorder, depression, and posttraumatic stress disorder. Hi there and welcome! First and foremost, I'd like to say how proud I am of you for reaching out and seeking help in your personal journey of healing and growth. This first step in finding a Therapist takes courage! A little about myself: I have been practicing in the field of Mental Health for approximately 15 years. I graduated from the University of North Florida in 2007 with my Bachelors Degree in Psychology and in 2010 with my Master's Degree in Mental Health Counseling. I spent the first 7 years of my career working in in-patient psychiatric care hospitals where I would provide individual as well as group and family therapy services to patients dealing with issues included but not limited to Suicidal attempts, Bi-Polar Disorder with psychotic episodes, addiction issues and schizophrenia. I also began my clinical management experiences while working in-patient psychiatric care. The last 8 years, I have been working outpatient, non-for-profit practice as well as private practice with specialties in addressing Trauma, Anxiety, Addiction issues and Family/Relational issues, specifically related to Attachment Theories. I truly believe that anyone with the courage to reach out for help and the willingness to work, can achieve change and become the best version of themselves. I look forward to assisting you on your growth journey!
You DESERVE to Re-SET, To Re-FUEL, To Re-CHARGE. And then TAKE FLIGHT! Since entering the field of therapy I have learned to ascribe to the adage “all behavior has meaning.” Yes, ALL behavior. A deep curiosity for why we all act and think the way we do coupled with my own life’s challenges and experiences has led me to a place of compassion for not only my own life choices but compassion for others. Our thoughts lead to feelings, which leads to action. We are not always proud of our actions. As a woman, mother, wife, and veteran I know all too well the shame that comes with our personal choices and behaviors. I also know there is also a fear of JUDGEMENT when it comes to considering therapy. This is a no-judgement zone and if you are seeking a different feeling and action in your life then you have landed at the right place!
I am happy you are considering a more satisfying way of life. Believe me, it is my pleasure to help you do that. Together, we can look at disappointments, core beliefs that support dysfunction, and determine the best way out. All that will be asked of you is to participate in therapy with the courage and honesty needed to be truthful about what is getting in the way of achieving your goals, be willing to cope with fear and learn something new. In addition, along the way we will practice guided meditation and visualization with progressive muscle relaxation as a means to facilitate improved focus and mindfulness.
My practice offers a gentle, supportive, and compassionate approach—always grounded in kindness and, most importantly, free of judgment. I hold a master’s degree in School Counseling and am a licensed Mental Health Counselor with over 10 years of experience supporting students and families. My approach is warm, approachable, and grounded in realism, helping clients feel heard and understood. I use a solution-focused framework to guide individuals toward practical and meaningful growth. I’m proud to already work with many wonderful clients and am excited to continue expanding my practice to support even more people on their journey toward emotional wellness.
Hi; when opening up to me, trust is valued and we have it here. I have been practicing in this field for more than seven (7) years.
I place great importance on the present moment and recognize the potential strengths within each client. I work collaboratively with clients, encouraging exploration of their experiences and identifying internal and external resources that aid in the healing process.
