Welcome! *Please note that at this time, I am only accepting virtual patients with daytime availability* I’m a licensed psychotherapist specializing in trauma and PTSD, as well as mood and anxiety-related concerns. I have experience working in both inpatient and outpatient settings with individuals experiencing a range of mental health concerns. My approach to therapy is down-to-earth, interactive and collaborative. I draw from different therapeutic frameworks and tailor my approach to each client based on their developmental stage, individual needs, preferences and goals. Aside from private practice, I partner with several community-based nonprofit agencies serving children, adolescents and families involved in the foster care system, as well as survivors of domestic and sexual violence. I earned my Master of Social Work (MSW) from the University of Southern California with a clinical focus in adult mental health. I am also a doctoral candidate at the University of Pennsylvania. I am passionate about this field because it allows me to work across both micro and macro levels at the intersection of behavioral and community healthcare, policy and advocacy. I value the ability to engage in this work through psychotherapy and direct practice, while also understanding and addressing the broader systems, policies, and communities that shape lives. My own lived experience plays a significant role in how I understand and approach this work.

Hello. My name is Mandy and I am a licensed professional counselor (LPC) in Oklahoma and a licensed mental health counselor (LMHC) in Florida. I have worked extensively with adolescents in a group home setting providing individual, group and family therapy to address issues including depression, anxiety and trauma. I have also worked with at-risk youth in a partial-hospitalization setting. To me it is very important that your identity is respected in our sessions and I strive to offer a compassionate, safe space for all. I am offering that to you as well. On a more personal side, when I am not seeing clients, I am out roller skating, spending time with my pets or planning an adventure. Perhaps you are struggling with your relationships, not sure how to fix things, or feel like you're repeating the same patterns in your life. You are not alone! Hi! I'm Shana, and it is my passion to help folks just like you. We all have seasons in our lives where we find ourselves...just...not okay. If this is you, you've come to the right place. Hello, I’m A.J., a Licensed Master Level Social Worker from the U.P. of Michigan. Faith, Family, and Fellowship are things that I strive to live for daily. My faith is very important to me. I am involved in Men’s Ministry inside and outside of my church. Haggai 2:9 is a verse that is close to my family's heart: “The glory of this present house will be greater than the glory of the former house, says the Lord Almighty, in this place I will grant peace, declares the Lord Almighty.” My goal and prayer is that I can help individuals move into a better place than they were when therapy first began. My wife and I have three boys and one grandson. Our family enjoys spending time outside on our 20-acre property “Creation Acres” or getting away camping. My boys and I enjoy spending time in the woods or on the lake. I graduated from Ferris State University in 2018 with my Master’s Degree in Social Work after attending Lake Superior State University completing Criminal Justice / Public Safety Emphasis Bachelor’s Degree and a Paramedic Technology Associate’s Degree in 2008. I have experience working directly with law enforcement as a dispatcher and working in the public safety field as a fire fighter and as an EMT. I currently work for the Michigan Department of Corrections as a mental health specialist. Prior to this career, I worked for the Michigan Department of Health and Human Services as a foster care case manager and a juvenile justice / juvenile delinquency case manager. I look forward to working with you during your journey. Maybe you're the person everyone depends on—the capable one who keeps going. Underneath, you may be grieving, overwhelmed, questioning relationships, replaying the past, or simply exhausted from carrying so much. I'm Angela, and I work with adults navigating grief, trauma, intense emotions, attachment and relationship patterns, women's issues, and life transitions. My style is warm, human, and active. Using EMDR, ART, CBT, DBT, and attachment-informed approaches, we won't just talk about what happened—we'll understand why it still affects you and build practical ways forward. You don't have to pretend you're okay here. I work with people who look capable on the outside but feel overwhelmed underneath—navigating grief, trauma, intense emotions, relationship patterns, or major life changes. Together, we'll uncover what's keeping you stuck, understand where it began, and build healthier responses so your past no longer has to keep making your decisions for you. You don't have to have everything figured out before reaching out. Whether you're grieving, overwhelmed, stuck in old patterns, or simply tired of carrying so much alone, you deserve a space where you can be real. I'm Katya, and I see therapy as a practical, collaborative space where we focus on real progress, not perfection. Together, we'll work to better understand the patterns that keep you stuck, strengthen your ability to manage life's challenges, and build on the strengths you already have. I think of therapy a little like a climb: progress isn't always about pushing harder. Sometimes it means pausing, reassessing, and finding your next steady hold. My goal is to help you build steadiness, clarity, and self-trust so you can move through life with more resilience.

Thank you for taking the first step of courage and making yourself a priority today. Opening yourself up and being vulnerable can be a tremendous step to your healing process. As Brene Brown says, “Vulnerability is not winning or losing, it’s having the courage to show up and be seen when we have no control over the outcome.” You are showing up for yourself today! Although the first steps can be overwhelming, I can walk with you and help guide you on the journey of healing and peace. I will always provide a safe space of acceptance and non-judgement for you to share your emotional pain, grow to love and be kind to yourself, and find the peace you deserve to heal. Remember that you are worthy and deserving of being free of the emotional pain you are experiencing. Be kind to yourself. **If you are viewing my profile for your child (3-17 years of age), I provide a calming and accepting space to assist with regulating your child's emotions. If your child is experiencing symptoms of anxiety, ADHD or difficulty focusing due to inattention or hyperactivity, or your child is lacking motivation and seems more irritable and angrier than usual, I can teach your child coping skills and strategies. Frequently asked questions

When looking for online therapy, you can see anyone that is credentialed in Florida. We want you to find the best fit, therefore, Grow Therapy shows available therapists across Florida from Miami to Jacksonville! If you’d rather see someone in-person, you can change the filter from virtual and find a therapist near you in Florida.

When booking you’ll be asked to verify with your Member ID. However, if you don’t have any of the insurances available you can select cash. Our therapists will have their cost of appointment on their profile. Individual session costs will vary.

The specialty filter is optional. You don’t need to check any boxes to see a provider. However, fit is very important when selecting an online therapist. If you have knowledge or experience to recognize what specialties you may need.

Finding a provider with a similar life experience can be beneficial because it can be easier to establish rapport and potentially be understood quicker and clearer.

Your first therapy session is for you and your therapist to meet each other and to ask any questions that you have about the counseling process. This is where you can expect your therapist to do the same as they will ask questions to gain insight into your specific situation. In this first session the therapist is doing their part to gather as much information so they can better assess if they are able to meet your therapeutic needs. Depending upon your provider's specialty, you may also discuss the methods the therapist will use. For additional information on therapy methods, please visit the Grow Therapy Help Center. Some people feel nervous before their first appointment, and that is totally normal! Coming prepared with a list of questions for your therapist may help. Remember, you're taking a brave step by seeking therapy, and it is okay to be nervous as you try something new.
