As a mental health professional for over twenty-five years, I am dedicated to helping clients explore options and strategies so that they may live a healthier and happier life. I provide compassionate care and counseling to individuals in Illinois, Missouri and Florida via Telehealth. I possess a Master’s Degree in Social Work specializing in Mental Health and Addictions. I have extensive experience in Leadership and Direct Care positions within Inpatient and Outpatient Behavioral Health and Substance Abuse Recovery and Rehabilitation facilities. As a result of those experiences, I witnessed and truly believe mental health and addiction recovery is possible. As we each experience our life’s journey, the good, bad, and ugly, we continue to learn and grow along the way. Many journeys will include troubled times resulting in anxiety, mood disorders, grief, loss, parenting difficulties, relationship issues, addictions and other challenges along the way. But most will also include exciting and positive times such as graduations, college, marriage, career advancements, births, relocations, new homes, new friends, and many more. Although positive, adjustment to these experiences may also result in a need for support during the transition.
As a Social Worker, my approach will focus on the whole individual to identify other factors contributing to the current problem. This will include past and current relationships, health issues, work, living and social environments.
My goal is to help clients find hope, joy and peace. They will achieve this by learning to view problems differently and using healthy coping skills to make changes and adjust to a new normal.

Hi! I'm a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) based in Florida. I received my Masters from the CAU University of Florida and have been practicing for 15 years. I help adults struggling with depression/anxiety to improve their general mental state and be able to function better in daily life activities. Throughout my time in counseling I have been able to help many clients overcome their problems that limit them from functioning at their full potential.
I'm a PhD, Licensed Clinical Social Worker, and owner of Greenway Wellness Center. I have over 15 years of experience in helping individuals move through conflict. This includes the conflict we carry within ourselves, and the conflict that shows up in our closest relationships. My goal is to help you find your way back to connection and clarity.
My approach is strength-based and solution-focused. I'm less interested in what's "wrong" with you. I'm more interested in the pattern you're stuck in, so we can work together to change it.
I also work with couples navigating disconnection or repeated conflict. I bring my own experience with personal growth work and marriage into this work. I know firsthand that even steady people and strong relationships get caught in patterns they didn't choose on purpose.
Whether you're coming to sessions on your own or with a partner, I believe most struggles aren't really about the surface issue. They're about a story. Sometimes it's the story you tell yourself. Sometimes it's the story two people tell about the same moment. Either way, that story has stopped matching what's actually happening, and the safety underneath it has gotten lost.
In our sessions, I'll help you slow the pattern down. Once you can see it clearly, it stops running the show. I don't pathologize the people I work with. I believe you already have more capacity for change and connection than the current struggle is letting you access. My job is to help you find your way back to it.
If you're exhausted from repeating the same cycle, in your own head, with a partner, or both, I'd be glad to work with you.

Hi! I am a heterosexual cisgender woman, and my husband and I have a high school aged son. I'm originally from St. Louis, Missouri but I have lived in Florida for 35 years and I consider it my home.
I think of myself as a girl-next-door therapist. New clients often tell me I'm easy to talk to and that they feel better after the first session. I like to use humor whenever possible. My approach is gentle and humble. I'll never go beyond your comfort level of discussion. Your session with me is where you can spew your thoughts, cry, talk about yourself and even the thoughts you have that would be offensive to others. I have had clients say things about their life or people in their lives that would not be acceptable in most settings, and being able to talk about it is often very freeing.
