We do not need to struggle any longer against our old conditioned patterns... we must only recognize them for what they are. Hello! My name Is Natalie Knight and I am an LCSW who is passionate about utilizing the strength of the therapeutic alliance as a support to enter into an exploration of what is beckoning for our attention at any given moment. I believe once we learn how to meet our emotions that we can clear ourselves of old past traumas or new ones. I have been doing this work for the past eight years professionally. I use a person-centered approach in my counseling practice which emphasizes that the client is the best authority for his/her own life and that the answers to his/her questions are inside of them. I serve as a mirror to reflect to the client the inherent wisdom that we uncover during our therapy sessions. I also rely strongly on EMDR as a modality to help client with the root of their trauma. This process has been quite effective for me in my search for understanding and I hope to be able to share it with others who feel called to this type of work with me as well.

Hello! I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) based in sunny Florida! I received my master’s degree from the University of South Florida and have been licensed and practicing for 30 years, treating all ages. I work with a wide array of areas, including anxiety, depression, life skills, and grief. I am a certified provider specializing in trauma, grief, ADHD, and dementia. I use a client-centered and collaborative approach. As we work together, you will find that a major focus is on building a strong therapeutic relationship where you feel supported and understood. I am empathetic, nonjudgmental, and a great listener. I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), a structured, goal-oriented therapy that encourages you to focus on current problems and find solutions, rather than dwelling on the past. This approach allows you to manage mental health conditions and emotional concerns by identifying and changing unhelpful thought patterns and behaviors. I look forward to working together, problem-solving, and helping you feel like yourself again!

After a career in the corporate world, I "reinvented" by going back to school to obtain a masters degree in counseling. I have worked at the VA, FL civil commitment prison, a psychiatric hospital and for the last five years counsel for a local hospital system serving a diverse population. Married, 5 kids, (3 adopted), cats and dogs, successes and failures in both business and personal life. I continue to learn how to navigate life's challenges and find meaning and purpose helping others. I practice CBT, ACT, and mindfulness, but believe the client's language should drive their journey. Greetings! My name's Bertrona Freeman and I am a compassionate and practical therapist who supports adults navigating substance use concerns, anger, grief, trauma, emotional regulation, relationships stress, and major life transitions. My approach is grounded in helping clients feel heard, understood, and empowered while also encouraging accountability, self-awareness, and meaningful change. I enjoy working with individuals who are ready to better understand their patterns, strengthen coping skills, improve decision-making, and build healthier relationships with themselves and others. I have experience engaging clients individually and in group settings, using psychoeducation, skill-building, and relatable discussions to help clients connect what they learn in therapy to real-life situations. I believe therapy should be both supportive and useful, offering clients a safe space to process painful experiences while also developing tools they can apply outside of session. Whether a client is working through grief, managing triggers, addressing aggressive behaviors, rebuilding after substance use, or learning to become more emotionally present in relationships, I strive to meet them with empathy, honesty, and respect. My goal is to help clients gain insight, increase emotional awareness, and create lasting changes that support healing, stability, and personal growth.

Hi, I'm Dr. V.—a licensed, board-certified therapist with 19 years of experience helping adolescents, adults, and couples navigate intricate emotional landscapes. I specialize in treating complex trauma, relationship struggles, maladaptive coping, life transitions, and the sense of loneliness and isolation definitive of our post-pandemic, digital reality. I hold advanced credentials in trauma-informed assessment and intervention, integrative mental healthcare, and clinical mental health and nutrition consultation. In addition to clinical practice, I work as an Adjunct Professor and Campus Supervisor across various universities, with research lines centering on early psychosocial trauma, Psychological Intimate Partner Violence (P-IPV), and instrument design. In fact, I am lead author of the text "Covert Trauma Across the Lifespan: Viewing Psychosocial Trauma Through a Clinical Lens"—scheduled for release in Fall 2026 via Springer Publishing—the first comprehensive clinical resource of its kind, including a focus on phenomena such as narcissistic abuse, coercive control, gaslighting, parentification, and parental alienation—bridging the gap between clinical practice and contemporary culture. My further contributions to the field include: serving as a volunteer for the Florida Department of Health Crisis Management Team, scripting and acting in educational clinical demonstration videos, and designing, developing, and delivering board-accredited training programs for counselors and psychiatry residents—with a focus on psychoeducation, assessment, intervention, and client-centered collateral care. When off the clock, I kick it savagely low-key. In my opinion, the most sublime luxury in life is a great night's sleep! Otherwise, you can find me fumbling around on the acoustic bass, shamelessly reciting '90s hip-hop lyrics while cruising in the slow lane, binge-watching niche documentaries, attending stand-up shows, daydreaming of summers spent snorkeling in vivid tropical reefs, or expanding my highly curated collections of tiny boxes, rocks, boots, books, cats, and tats.

Motherhood is a profound journey marked by both beauty and upheaval. Whether your path to this moment has been long-anticipated or unexpected, the transition into motherhood often brings a whirlwind of emotions. Anxiety and depression during pregnancy and the postpartum period are more common than many realize, with maternal depression being the leading complication of childbirth. The shift from your pre-motherhood identity to caring for a newborn can be one of the toughest transitions you’ll ever experience. As a dedicated mental health professional, I am passionate about supporting individuals through some of life's most significant and challenging transitions. I offer various approaches, including talk therapy, art therapy, mindfulness and meditation practices, and Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART). These methods are designed to help you express your feelings, redefine your identity, and find a sense of balance and well-being in this new chapter of your life.

Hello! My name is Alysa Gregory, and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. I grew up in a small city in Michigan and moved to Florida in 2015, where I obtained my Master’s Degree and Licensure in Clinical Social Work. I have always had a passion for practicing as a therapist, and the reason is simple; I believe that all human beings are and were created equally and ultimately are all in search of the same thing in life, happiness. It took me some time before I chose to pursue a career in mental health and many hours, days and years of exploring my inner most being, before I knew that this field was for me. I have spent a lot of time exploring the behaviors, feelings and emotions of others, along with getting to know myself and learning to be in tune with my inner most self. I truly believe this has helped me become the best therapist I can be. I pride myself on continuing to grow and learn as a mental health professional, as we all know the world is constantly and rapidly changing and shifting directions. It is important to me as a therapist that I consistently check in with myself to be sure that I am providing the very best services to my clients/patients at all times. I am truly here to serve my clients and I am one hundred percent committed to the well-being of each individual I serve. I look forward to the opportunity to work with you and to become a part of your life journey.

You are here hoping to find that therapist who stands out to you because you want to find someone who can help you. The search can be overwhelming for some. Most of the profiles of therapists are going to say similar things. Most of which should be standard like brakes on a car. I cannot promise I'm the right one for you. Here is what I can tell you about my approach. I believe in being practical which means I will not use a lot of psycho-babble or fancy strategies. I have a tendency to be blunt. My wife says I'm the "bluntest politest man" she has ever met. I'm going to be real with you. I love couples/marriage counseling, and that is my main focus. However, about half of my clients have always been individuals. Some people just need a place to vent. Others need help solving a problem, and most people need a little of both. I know therapy might be a little intimidating or even scary to some. Try to think of it as a massage for your brain. It's a place where you can say whatever you want guilt-free.
