I discovered that I love to hear people’s stories, and assist in helping them work through any issues they are experiencing. I have experience in working in the hospice arena, providing grief and loss counseling to children, adults and families; as well as working in an office setting working with people struggling with managing emotions, stresses, relationships, grief and loss, trauma, anxiety and depression, self image and confidence. I have a bachelor’s degree in sociology, earned at the University of Havanna. I completed a PHD in Sociology at Marthin Luther University in Halle Wittenberg, Germany, and a Master of Science in psychology with a major in Marriage and Family therapy at the Carlos Albizu University, Florida USA. I have worked in the field of mental health for over 20 years in different positions and serve different populations. I'm bilingual and provide sessions in Spanish language.
