Hello and welcome, I'm Ericka, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who specializes in supporting people whose work—and often their identity—is centered on caring for others, until somewhere along the way they've lost sight of themselves.
As both a therapist and clinical leader, I've spent years supporting the people others rely on most. I've learned that the people who seem strongest are often carrying the heaviest burdens, and too often, capable people mistake surviving for living.
Whether your goal is to leave work at work, sleep through the night, stop feeling guilty for resting, or simply feel like yourself again, we'll work together to help you reconnect with the person beneath all the responsibility.
Because the people everyone depends on deserve someone they can depend on, too.

Many Black men carry responsibility, emotion, and expectation without having a space to process what they’re carrying. Over time, this can show up as stress, anger, anxiety, or feeling worn down. I provide individual therapy for Black men and for adolescents who need a space where they are understood. I also help parents and caregivers — especially those raising Black and Brown boys and families in blended or co-parenting systems — build clarity, connection, and consistent discipline. My approach is relational, culturally informed, and focused on helping you understand patterns, reduce overwhelm, and strengthen your family system.

However, sometimes we need someone on our journey to help us unlock those answers by asking the right questions---things you may not have considered, presenting proven strategies, and psychoeducation. Welcome! My name is Corina and I hold a license in Mental Health Counseling (LMHC) in the state of Florida. I went to school at Palm Beach Atlantic University for both my undergrad and masters education. Palm Beach Atlantic University is a Christian University and I feel grateful to have attended this school as it has created the person I am today. I believe that my faith has developed me into the counselor I am today and I function with that mentality in counseling. Jesus is the great counselor and I believe that we are to be the hands and feet of Jesus.
I have been working in the counseling field for 8 years and have been licensed for 4 of those years. I have worked the majority of my career in an in-patient addictions center and have expanded to outpatient and in-home therapy with a couple of different community agencies. In those agencies, I have offered services to children from the ages of 4 to adults in their 60s, as well as family therapy. I have worked with an array of issues not limited to family conflict, relationship issues, communication, drugs and alcohol, anger, stress, coping skills and many other life issues.
Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) is a modality that I primarily work with and at times borrows from other modalities when it is fit. My goal is to build a real, raw and positive relationship while being compassionate and empathetic. I will be sensitive but also direct in my efforts to help you find solutions to your current and/or past issues. I also believe that incorporating the use of coping skills, boundaries and communication will increase the quality of life as well as the quality of relationships.
I believe all interactions are the beginning of potential flourishing relationships. With that said, I think that as we grow in counselor and client relationships, this very relationship will better help you with your relationships with family, friends and co-workers.
I am excited to meet you and to work with you as you learn new ways to live your very best life! Thank you for letting me be a part of your journey.

I’m a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) who primarily works with men navigating relationship challenges, communication difficulties, anger, and emotional regulation. I understand that reaching out for therapy isn’t always easy, especially for men who may not be used to talking openly about emotions. My goal is to create a space where you can be yourself, speak honestly, and work through difficult situations without feeling judged.
I’m a licensed mental health provider with five years of experience supporting individuals across outpatient, inpatient, hospital, and school settings. This diverse background allows me to understand the full spectrum of mental health needs and to adapt my approach to meet each client exactly where they are. My role is to help you navigate that process with support, curiosity, and even moments of humor. I value creating a space where you can show up authentically, feel understood, and work toward meaningful change at a pace that feels right for you.
I am someone who likes to make a difference. I love helping people, and love seeing the changes client's can make when they know the path through. My therapeutic approach is inspired by a profound message from one of my favorite therapists: “You may feel like you're in the desert right now, but I will walk beside you. I won't pull you or push you. When you're tired, we'll rest. When you're scared, I'll stand with you. When you're sad, I'll sit with you. Together, we will reach the other side.” These words continue to resonate deeply with me and shape my compassionate, supportive practice.

Whether you are seeking help as an individual or in a group setting, therapy with me is a collaborative process that supports growth, clarity, and self-compassion. I integrate faith into the therapeutic process—honoring Christian values and belief systems while respecting each person’s spiritual path. Whether you’re a woman seeking self-discovery, a man learning new ways to process and communicate emotions, or a child building coping skills and self-esteem, my goal is to meet you where you are and walk alongside you toward a life of deeper understanding and freedom.

Clients often cherish my ability to be direct, honest and having unconditional positive regard while challenging maladaptive beliefs.
Investing in counseling can yield long-term rewards to influence healing, intimacy, and wholeness. Acquiring necessary tools for healthy growth can be invaluable to achieving an authenticity of self. We will endeavor to enhance your life through increased self-awareness, personal growth, and self-acceptance utilizing the modality most beneficial to you.
Deciding to go to therapy may be a difficult decision. However, therapy can help you process complex emotions and strengthen your relationship with yourself and others. While change may not happen overnight, each session builds on the last bringing greater clarity, healing, and growth. Every talk is a step forward, moving clients closer to lasting change, one day at a time.
I believe therapy should be a place where you feel heard, supported, and empowered to create meaningful change. As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), I have extensive experience working with adults, veterans, and families facing a wide range of mental health challenges. My professional background includes serving as a crisis response trauma therapist, supporting individuals during some of the most difficult moments of their lives. I also have specialized training in adoption competency, helping adoptive families, birth families, and adoptees navigate the unique emotional experiences that can accompany adoption.

My work with veterans and their families has given me a deep appreciation for the unique challenges associated with military service, including trauma, transitions, relationship stress, and reintegration.

Clients often describe me as approachable, supportive, and structured. No matter where you are in your journey, my goal is to meet you with compassion, respect, and evidence-based care that helps you move toward the life you want to live.
I'm a psychotherapist with 35-plus years of experience. After completing training in clinical social work and psychology at the University of Maryland (M.S.W., 1988) and Saybrook Institute (Ph.D., 1991), I began practicing as a family, couples and individual therapist. I have hosted on radio/podcasts, have written two books and thousands of self-help articles in my "Life's a Beach" column for nationwide Gannett media. I love working with clients in the here-and-now, and finding solutions to move forward with life. My primary goal is to help you help yourself. I will guide and coach you, not tell you what to do. Diagnostic labels are useful at times, but you are not your labels. I'm your thinking partner: We'll reason and think our way to what makes sense together.
Do you feel overwhelmed, depressed, anxious or have limitations in your ability to function presently? With 33 years of clinical experience, I have a significant number of skills and methods to help. Not everyone benefits fully from only one or even two therapy methods. I tailor my skills and interventions to each person depending on their needs, problems and comfort. Different therapy methods are researched as to the best outcomes based on what symptoms you are struggling with. I follow the research and start with the approaches that are well-studied and show the best results. If you are not feeling better after a few sessions, we discuss this openly and I introduce you to a different approach. I look at therapy as a combined effort with both of us working together to meet your personal goals. While I guide you, your feedback is regularly requested so you are benefiting. You will find that I am very honest, direct, non-judgmental, compassionate and genuine in my desire to help my clients.
I am a compassionate and dedicated professional, guided by a strong sense of humanism and a genuine vocation for helping others. I believe that a good life is not a fixed state, but an ongoing process—a direction rather than a destination.
I see therapy as a meaningful path toward self-awareness and personal growth. It offers an opportunity to better understand yourself, redefine challenges, and transform them into learning experiences. Entering therapy requires courage, commitment, and openness, and through that process, real and lasting change becomes possible.
I am a compassionate, client-centered therapist dedicated to helping adults navigate life’s challenges with greater clarity, emotional balance, and resilience. I provide a supportive and nonjudgmental space where clients can process difficult experiences, strengthen coping skills, and create meaningful change. My approach integrates evidence-based practices such as CBT, DBT, mindfulness, and Christian counseling when desired, helping clients heal, grow, and move forward with confidence and purpose.
Hello, I am Shaqueena. Are you tired of being tired? Do you feel that no one understands your situation or that no one can relate? Are you unsure if therapy is right for you?
If you are here, then that means that you are ready and motivated to make some changes in your life. Seeking help can sometimes be tough, which is why I believe that we all experience things in our life that goes beyond our ability to cope and when that happens we need a little more assistance.
As a licensed professional counselor, my ultimate goal is to first normalize seeking assistance by decreasing the stigma on mental health. In doing so, my goal is to assist individuals in their healing process, to empower individuals to become the best version of themselves and to help individuals to see that life is completely what you make it.
My preference for treatment is to utilize a trauma-informed approach in addition to CBT, EMDR and Choice/Reality Therapy.
Hello potential client! You are hurting in some way if you are here reading this. Maybe you feel like you are getting more and more stressed out and just one more stressor would be too much for you to handle. Maybe you worry all the time about everything and can't stop. Maybe you are sad all the time and don't enjoy doing things that used to be fun. Maybe you are feeling helpless or hopeless about what to do. Maybe you have been through a traumatic experience or are grieving. Maybe you are thinking the way you have been using substances is causing you problems. You have tried your best to help yourself but nothing has worked the way you hoped it would. You don't know what to do but you do know you can't keep going the way you have been.
This is where I come in! I help people who are ready to change for the better! My heart is for helping hurting people and I strive to treat all of my clients with the compassion and respect I believe they deserve. The most important part of positive change in a therapeutic relationship depends on just that - the relationship between the therapist and the client. I also use a variety of resources to help my clients. These include evidence-based types of therapy, worksheets and measurements. I also offer Christian counseling to those who are interested and am also happy to work with people of other spiritual beliefs.
I offer free consultation calls so we can both decide if working together would be a good fit for both of us. I look forward to hearing from you if I sound like I would be your kind of therapist!

I am a Certified Grief-Informed Professional. I have 24 years of experience supporting and empowering individuals to navigate and cope with life's challenges. I am an intentional counselor who proactively plans my interactions and interventions based on a clear understanding of your situation and desired outcomes. I aim to understand your needs, strengths, and values to create a personalized plan that aligns with your goals and fosters positive change.
As an intentional counselor, I have had the privilege of working with chronically and terminally ill patients and their families, supporting them as they manage the emotional, physical, mental, and spiritual impact of their illness. I have experience working with college students needing support adjusting to college life, building confidence, navigating social situations, and managing stress and anxiety. I have spent years walking with bereaved individuals as they process intense emotions, attempt to understand the grieving process, and find meaning after loss. It has been an honor to support elderly individuals managing grief, the fear of mortality and aging, adapting to retirement, addressing social isolation, and experiencing a range of mental health challenges. I have also had the pleasure of supporting single mothers as they navigate the emotional impact of motherhood, mental health issues, financial stress, and building a support system.
In my practice, I do not rely solely on one specific theory but rather draw upon different theoretical perspectives. I utilize Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT), Mindfulness-Based Therapies, Reminiscence Therapy, and Grief Therapy.
I’m a passionate and experienced therapist committed to empowering adults through compassionate care, active support, and mutual respect. My goal is to create a safe, nonjudgmental space where trust can flourish and healing can begin.
Whether you're feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or simply ready for a positive change, "your time is now" !!! Together, we’ll take it one day at a time, setting realistic goals that help you move toward greater freedom, emotional wellness, and the best version of yourself. I’ll be here to guide and equip you with insight and practical tools to help you grow, heal, and thrive.
With over 30 years of experience serving individuals and families from multicultural backgrounds—and more than 20 years as a first responder in crisis intervention and mental health diagnosis—I bring a deep understanding of human resilience and the tools to foster transformation. I’m currently licensed as a Clinical Mental Health Counselor and a Licensed Master Certified Addiction Professional in the state of Florida.
If you’re ready to move beyond the “presenting problem” and take back control of your life, I’m honored to walk alongside you on that path.
I am a licensed mental health counselor and military veteran. My practice focuses on supporting adults navigating trauma, PTSD, anxiety, depression, organizational stress, organizational betrayal, and high-stress occupational experiences. I work with veterans, first responders, public safety professionals, healthcare professionals, and individuals seeking practical, collaborative, and trauma-informed care.
My approach is direct at times, supportive, and grounded in evidence-based treatment, including CBT, DBT skills, EMDR, Trauma-Focused CBT, and strength-based therapy. I help clients better understand their experiences, develop healthier coping strategies, and move toward healing, resilience, and meaningful change.
