From pioneering mental health programs for Division I student-athletes at UCF to designing mindfulness interventions using movement and dance, my work merges evidence-based practices with innovative wellness strategies. Our first virtual session is all about getting to know you — your story, your goals, and what brings you to therapy. We'll talk about what’s been going on in your life, explore what you hope to get out of our work together, and begin to build a foundation of trust and collaboration. You don’t need to have everything figured out — this is a judgment-free zone where we go at your pace. Whether you're dealing with anxiety, life transitions, athletic/performance concerns, or feeling burned out, I’ll work with you to clarify what you need from therapy and how we can get there together. You’ll receive a secure link to our video session ahead of time. All you need is a private, quiet space and a stable internet connection. If you're new to teletherapy, I’ll guide you through the process so it feels as smooth and comfortable as possible. By the end of the session, we’ll discuss a plan for moving forward, including how therapy might help, what approaches may be most useful (like CBT, mindfulness, or relational-cultural therapy), and how often we might meet. Whether you're feeling nervous, hopeful, or simply curious — you're not alone. My goal is for you to leave feeling supported, heard, and hopeful about your path ahead — no matter where you're logging in from.
