Hello!!!! I'm a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) based in the great state of Texas but also licensed in Florida. I also hold a doctorate and 15 years of experience. I help adults cope with life stressors. I also help clients find solutions to some of the tough issues that life will take us through. I help facilitate and maintain healing.
You may feel desperate, alone, and misunderstood. You feel like you are floating in the bottom of a lake and cannot see the light above you. Everyday, you feel like you are just going through the motions. If this describes you, then I may be the therapist for you. In my nearly twenty years of experience, I have helped people like you reach their potential and achieve the recovery that they needed. There is no set system or quick fix as others may promise, but I will walk down the road with you. My primary focus is on helping you deal with ambiguity. Often our thoughts and subsequently what we teach ourselves becomes rigid and fairly black and white. Using a pragmatic and authentic approach to therapy I try and help you be okay with things that are beyond your control and work with you to establish yourself as the protagonist in your own story. This is primarily accomplished through conversation and allowing you the client to guide the therapy in the direction it needs to go.
I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor with over 15 years of dedicated clinical practice, specializing in the care of adults, adolescents, and couples. I hold a Master’s in Psychology and a Master’s in Christian Studies, a unique combination that allows me to integrate evidence-based therapeutic approaches with a holistic perspective that honors both psychological and spiritual dimensions of healing.
My professional journey has been shaped by a deep commitment to helping individuals and families navigate life’s challenges, cultivate resilience, and discover their fullest potential. My therapeutic style is compassionate, structured, and client-centered, blending cognitive-behavioral strategies, multicultural sensitivity, and strengths-based interventions. I believe that therapy is not only about resolving difficulties but also about fostering growth, clarity, and purpose.
Fluent in both English and Spanish, I am adept at working across cultures and supporting diverse populations. My multicultural fluency enables me to bridge communication gaps and create safe, inclusive spaces for clients from different backgrounds. I have extensive experience in cross-cultural counseling, helping clients adapt to new environments, manage identity transitions, and strengthen relationships across cultural divides.
My practice emphasizes:
- Individual Growth: Supporting adults and adolescents in managing stress, trauma recovery, identity development, and personal empowerment.
- Couples Therapy: Helping partners strengthen communication, rebuild trust, and deepen intimacy.
- Family Systems Work: Guiding families through conflict resolution, parenting challenges, and intergenerational dynamics.
My professional philosophy is simple yet profound: therapy is a collaborative journey toward becoming the best version of oneself. With empathy, precision, and cultural awareness, I empower my clients to embrace change, cultivate resilience, and live with greater authenticity.
I am a licensed mental health counselor with over 35 yrs experience. I graduated from Boston College with a master's degree in counseling psychology. I believe in empowering clients with the tools and strategies necessary to achieve a productive and fulfilling life.
I am passionate about helping individuals and couples experience meaningful growth, healing, and lasting change. I believe mental health care should be accessible, free from stigma, and viewed as a normal part of living a healthy, balanced life.
My therapeutic approach is compassionate, collaborative, and nonjudgmental. I strive to create a safe environment where clients feel understood while also being thoughtfully challenged to examine unhelpful patterns, develop new perspectives, and build practical skills for lasting change. Your journey is important to me, and I recognize that seeking help is a significant step toward positive change. I am here to listen, guide, and offer support as you work toward achieving your goals and enhancing your well-being.
Painful experiences often lead people to develop protective strategies to manage overwhelming emotions. These strategies may appear as perfectionism, emotional avoidance, anger toward loved ones, or repeated involvement in unhealthy relationships. While they can offer temporary relief, they often create disconnection from oneself and others, contributing to feelings of loneliness, shame, anxiety, and depression.
I am dedicated to helping individuals strengthen their sense of self worth and process traumatic experiences that contribute to insecure attachment and unhelpful patterns. I believe that although emotional wounds often occur within relationships, healing also takes place through safe and supportive connection. With compassion, courage, and a willingness to explore difficult experiences, meaningful and lasting change is possible. Healing can happen, and there is always hope.

Welcome! I know how hard it can be to reach out for support. If you're here, I want you to know that you're not alone and you don't have to figure everything out by yourself. I'm someone who believes in the power of feeling seen, heard, and understood. I believe that therapy should feel like a real conversation where you can breathe, think, and be real, not a clinical checklist. I believe you deserve a space where you don't have to pretend, perform, or be "put together". Therapy with me is about helping you feel safe enough to be your real, unfiltered self. The parts that feel strong and the parts that feel messy. I'm a Licensed Clinical Social Worker based in Florida and for over 6 years I've helped adolescents and adults navigate anxiety, trauma, relationship challenges, life transitions, and emotional overwhelm. A lot of the people that I work with are tired of wearing masks- the "strong one", the "fun one", the "reliable one". Underneath, they feel overwhelmed, anxious, numb, or disconnected from who they used to be. I help create a space where you can take those masks off without fear. You don't have to know the right words. You don't have to have everything figured out. You just have to show up as you are. Together, we'll work through what you're carrying and build tools that feel realistic and fit your real life. If you're tired of pretending and ready for a space where you can just be real, I'd love to support you.
I believe therapy should be a space where you can be honest about what you're experiencing without feeling judged, rushed, or pressured to have everything figured out.
I work with adults navigating anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, life transitions, stress, burnout, and difficulties with self-esteem. My approach is direct, compassionate, and practical. We won't just talk about what's happening in your life; we'll work to understand the patterns keeping you stuck and develop tools to help you move forward.
As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with more than 20 years of experience in behavioral health, I bring a systems-oriented perspective to individual therapy. Whether you're struggling to establish boundaries, feeling disconnected from yourself, processing a difficult relationship, or simply tired of carrying everything alone, our work will focus on helping you build emotional clarity, confidence, and healthier ways of navigating life.

I earned my Bachelor’s degree in Human Services from Indian River State College in 2014 and my Master of Social Work from Barry University in 2017.
My work has focused on supporting individuals through addiction, grief and loss, incarceration, anxiety, depression, and both childhood and generational trauma. At the core of my practice is a deep belief that everyone holds the potential for healing, growth, and meaningful change.
My therapy style is warm, collaborative, and direct—with plenty of compassion and a touch of humor. I use humor intentionally to break down walls, ease heavy conversations, and remind clients that healing doesn’t always have to feel heavy. I value authenticity and create a space where clients can feel truly seen and heard without judgment.
I take a solution-focused, strengths-based approach, customizing my methods to fit each individual’s journey. My toolbox includes cognitive-behavioral, existential, narrative, and client-centered therapies—all aimed at helping clients move forward with clarity and confidence.
Therapy with me is about real conversations, practical tools, and the belief that even small steps can lead to big change. If you're ready to explore what’s holding you back and start moving toward what’s possible, I’d be honored to walk alongside you.
