Hello! I'll get right to the point - these are the main issues I specialize in: 1. TRAUMA/PTSD. This includes all types of trauma (physical, sexual, emotional, psychological) and residual trauma symptoms (OCD, anxiety, depression). 2. Obsessive-Compulsive Disorders. This includes all types of OCD, uncertainty, and doubt. PLEASE NOTE: Talk therapy is NOT a suitable treatment for OCD. I use a combination of Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), as well as Inference-Based Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (I-CBT) to assist me in my work with OCD cases. 3. SELF and RELATIONSHIP ISSUES, including: a. CODEPENDENCY (i.e. people pleasing, inability to say no, fear of upsetting others, lack of assertiveness, chronic feelings of obligation). b. PSYCHOLOGICAL ABUSE (manipulative friends, family, romantic partners, controlling relationships, cults, abusive churches, workplace bullying, hazing, sexual coercion, undue influence, toxic people of all kinds). c. IDENTITY CONCERNS (poor boundaries, lack of purpose/identity, career and higher education concerns, narcissism, former cult members). Do any of these describe you or your situation? My approach is holistic and encompasses the whole person, addressing many dimensions of well-being, including biological, psychological, social, cultural, and spiritual factors. I work with clients who have dual diagnoses, for example, a mental health disorder and a substance use disorder, or more than one mental illness, for example, bipolar disorder and PTSD. Many of the clients I work with do not meet criteria for PTSD, but have post-traumatic stress that is causing other conditions.

I specialize in the treatment of; trauma recovery, PTSD, anxiety, depression, chronic stress, grief and loss, substance abuse/addiction, relationship and life transition difficulties, chronic mental illness and co-occurring disorders. I believe that my clients are distinct individuals whom each bring their unique problems and challenges to the therapy setting, therefore I customize specific therapy interventions to the individual needs of each client. My interventions may include; Solutions Focused Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Socratic Questioning, Motivational Interviewing, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Trauma Resolution and Strategic Relapse Prevention. I am passionate about developing a collaborative working relationship with my clients, assisting them in identifying their strengths and goals, and providing the guidance and tools necessary for them to live their best life. Furthermore, I am highly sensitive to the concerns and apprehensions of the clients new to the therapy process.
