I have also helped many people who have experienced physical trauma or emotional abuse. I am trained as an a veteran suicide specialist and I am a certified trauma therapist. Hi! I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and have been in the field for 12 years. I've been Licensed for 8 years. I have experience working with a range of people and different ages. I've been trained in Child-Parent Psychotherapy, Circle of Security Parenting, Accelerated Resolution Therapy, Dialectal Behavioral Therapy (DBT) and have worked with young children, adolescents, and adults. I have been doing agency work for the past 12 years as well. I've worked with clients with substance use issues in the child welfare system, high risk adolescents, in the school system, and adult outpatient. I believe in treating a person holistically and drawing from strengths that they may already possess. With this approach, clients are able to help uncover their abilities, use their support system or gain assistance in developing one, and make long-lasting changes.
