Ashley Bryant is a licensed mental health counselor in the state of Florida dedicated to supporting her clients through a warm, compassionate approach. She creates a safe, nonjudgmental space where individuals feel heard, understood, and empowered to make meaningful changes in their lives. Ashley is especially passionate about supporting families of children with special needs. As a parent of a child with special needs herself, she offers understanding and support in a deeply personal and unique way. She also works with couples, adults, teens, and adolescents, helping them explore trauma and its effects through evidence-based approaches such as CBT, ACT, EMDR, and solution-focused techniques.
In the first session, my goal is to get to know you ad for you to get to now me so that you can make a decision as to whether or not I am someone that you would like to work with. We will explore your reasoning for seeking treatment, what you expect from me, what I expect from you, and the goals that you have for yourself and the life that you want to lead.
My greatest strength is being able to hold space for my clients, while offering compassion and a non-judgemental environment, I also have no problem in being honest with my client about themselves in an effort to help them recognize irrational thought and behavioral patterns.
I work well with clients experiencing anxiety and difficulty with life transitions, those that have experienced trauma and self-worth issues, and couples/families that are having difficulty navigating their relationships. I work with clients that have the mindset of not being ""cured" but instead understand that they will learn to navigate life in more healthy ways are willing to do the work of confronting long held thoughts/beliefs that no longer serve them.
