I entered the field of social work 10+ years ago to advocate for and assist others in finding their voice. I quickly learned I was able to use my skills to help clients overcome obstacles and navigate broken systems. Over the course of my career, the need to address mental health disparities became apparent, as did the lack of available providers to do so. I became a licensed therapist to help clients live a life free of shame, one that is authentic without needing anyone else’s approval.

I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor who has been practicing in the local community since 2011. I began my career working with a non-profit by helping children, teenagers, parents, and couples who struggled with various issues, ranging from learning to cope with day-to-day stressors to healing from major traumas. In the years since then, I’ve helped young adults in college wrestling with academic pressure, newly blended families yearning for harmony, couples searching to renew faded intimacy, and individuals struggling to overcome addictive patterns. This broad range of therapeutic experience has helped me to become well-rounded as a mental health professional.

I’m a licensed therapist who supports women who have spent most of their lives being the strong one, the responsible one, and the over-functioner for everyone else. Many of the women I work with grew up emotionally neglected or learned early on that their value came from how much they could carry. I help them reconnect with themselves, feel grounded again, and build a sense of identity and worthiness that isn’t tied to performance, achievement, or constantly being “the strong one.”

I am a licensed therapist in the sunshine state of Florida. I have over 20 years of experience in the social services field, helping women and children who are survivors of trauma. After obtaining a Master's in marriage and family therapy, I have worked in private practice and nonprofit organizations, fostering a safe and supportive space for individuals, couples, and families to heal, grow, and build stronger connections. I have experience providing services to individuals, couples, and families, with an array of mental health and emotional issues ranging from depression, anxiety, infidelity, communication, self-esteem, family conflict, parenting, and ADHD. Taking the first step toward feeling better can be difficult, especially when you have been carrying emotional struggles on your own. You may feel overwhelmed, disconnected, or unsure of how to move forward. Therapy can provide a safe place to slow down, better understand what you are experiencing, and begin making changes that feel meaningful to you. As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in Florida with more than 15 years of experience, I help individuals navigate anxiety, depression, trauma, stress, loneliness, low self-esteem, relationship concerns, communication difficulties, and challenging life transitions. I also support people who are struggling with guilt, shame, isolation, or a loss of confidence and purpose. I provide a warm, compassionate, and nonjudgmental environment where you can speak openly and feel heard, respected, and understood. My approach is person-centered, trauma-informed, strengths-based, and solution-focused. Because everyone’s experiences and needs are different, I draw from a variety of therapeutic approaches and tailor our work to your individual concerns, strengths, and goals. Together, we can explore the thoughts, feelings, experiences, and patterns that may be keeping you from living the life you want. We will work to identify your existing strengths, develop healthy coping skills, improve communication, strengthen relationships, and create practical strategies that can make everyday life feel more manageable. I believe therapy is a collaborative process and that you are the expert on your own life. My role is to support and guide you as you build confidence, resilience, and a greater sense of balance. Whether you are seeking healing from the past, support with a current challenge, or hope for the future, you do not have to face it alone. Together, we can work toward meaningful and lasting change.

Early on I experienced an unwavering passion to help others. This deep-seated desire led me to pursue a Bachelor’s in Psychology and a Master’s in Mental Health Counseling. My aspirations didn't stop there. Upon venturing into the social service field I gained a strong interest in working with deviant youth, giving me the motivation to complete a Bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice, along with a Master's in Social Science with a concentration in Criminal Justice. After attaining four college degrees, I became a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in the state of Florida. For over 8 years, I have dedicated myself to serving the community and gaining invaluable experience along the way. I have acquired educational, professional, and personal experiences which help guide others on their healing journey, overcoming trauma, cultivating emotional stability, and addressing psychological distress. The utmost focus is to extend a helping hand to those grappling with anxiety, family conflicts, depression, and ADHD. By having a down-to-earth demeanor, and professional expertise with a genuine yet compassionate nature; the aim is to create a safe, nurturing, and supportive environment where you can explore your inner strengths, discover resilience, and embrace personal growth.

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of Florida with a Master of Social Work (MSW), and I work with teens, young adults, couples, families, and individuals across the lifespan. My approach is trauma-informed and integrative, drawing heavily from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and evidence-based strategies for anxiety and emotional well-being. I believe in supporting healing from a trauma-informed lens while also empowering you to recognize your own strengths and growth along the way. If you’re feeling nervous about starting therapy, I often remind clients: Life will always bring challenges, and we all need support in navigating them. Seeking help is not something to be ashamed or afraid of; it’s a meaningful sign of strength and growth. Plus, there is a world of possibilities on the other side of your fear. Outside of sessions, you’ll usually find me laughing or trying new foods; ideally both at the same time, but I’m not picky.

Hello! My name is Alysa Gregory, and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. I grew up in a small city in Michigan and moved to Florida in 2015, where I obtained my Master’s Degree and Licensure in Clinical Social Work. I have always had a passion for practicing as a therapist, and the reason is simple; I believe that all human beings are and were created equally and ultimately are all in search of the same thing in life, happiness. It took me some time before I chose to pursue a career in mental health and many hours, days and years of exploring my inner most being, before I knew that this field was for me. I have spent a lot of time exploring the behaviors, feelings and emotions of others, along with getting to know myself and learning to be in tune with my inner most self. I truly believe this has helped me become the best therapist I can be. I pride myself on continuing to grow and learn as a mental health professional, as we all know the world is constantly and rapidly changing and shifting directions. It is important to me as a therapist that I consistently check in with myself to be sure that I am providing the very best services to my clients/patients at all times. I am truly here to serve my clients and I am one hundred percent committed to the well-being of each individual I serve. I look forward to the opportunity to work with you and to become a part of your life journey.

I’m Joseph Contes, but many call me “Joe”, and if you want you can too. I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, Qualified Supervisor, and founder of Crosscurrent Health. My approach to therapy is grounded, thoughtful, and collaborative, with a focus on helping people feel understood while building practical tools for lasting change. I work with children ages 8 and up, adolescents, adults, and families navigating anxiety, trauma, emotional overwhelm, identity development, relationship concerns, and life transitions. Over the years, I have worked across a wide range of clinical settings including crisis services, emergency psychiatry, community mental health, correctional environments, and higher education. Those experiences have shaped the way I approach therapy today: calm, adaptable, and centered on meeting people where they are without judgment. I understand that reaching out for support can feel vulnerable, and I believe therapy works best when it feels like a steady, genuine partnership rather than a one-size-fits-all process. My work integrates evidence-based approaches including CBT, CPT, TF-CBT, and family-focused interventions while remaining flexible to each person’s needs, strengths, and goals. I also provide LGBTQIA+ affirming care and strive to create a space where clients feel emotionally safe, respected, and empowered to explore their experiences openly. At the heart of my work is the belief that growth happens when clarity meets support. Whether someone is working through past experiences, managing current stressors, or trying to reconnect with themselves and others, my goal is to help them move forward with greater confidence, resilience, and steadiness through life’s crosscurrents.

I believe in working collaboratively with my clients to create change where they want change to occur. My primary interventions are EMDR, IFS, and DBT-based. Licensed in Georgia and Florida. My experience is not limited to working with individuals who are facing a medical diagnosis, as I also have worked extensively with clients facing depression, anxiety, interpersonal challenges, self-esteem issues, and end-of-life challenges. I view therapy as a collaboration, as you are the expert of your own life; we will work jointly to create a treatment that is both realistic and meaningful so that you can live a full and value-driven life! You may be the person everyone else depends on. You're capable, responsible, and high-functioning. From the outside, it may seem like you're managing everything well—but internally, you're overwhelmed, emotionally exhausted, constantly overthinking, or wondering why life feels so much harder than it "should." Many of my clients are women who have spent years taking care of everyone else while slowly losing connection with themselves. They may be balancing demanding careers, motherhood, caregiving, relationships, or major life transitions while quietly carrying anxiety, burnout, perfectionism, people-pleasing, or self-doubt. I specialize in helping women navigate anxiety, stress, burnout, ADHD, relationship challenges, life transitions, self-esteem concerns, depression, and chronic overwhelm. I also enjoy working with individuals adjusting to chronic illness, caregiver stress, and significant changes that affect their sense of identity. My approach is warm, collaborative, and practical. I believe lasting change happens when we understand not only what we're experiencing, but why certain patterns developed in the first place. Together, we'll identify what's keeping you stuck, develop insight into those patterns, and build realistic strategies that help you create meaningful change outside of therapy—not just during our sessions. I know reaching out for therapy can feel vulnerable, especially if you're used to being the one others rely on. My goal is to provide a space where you don't have to have everything figured out—a place where you can feel understood, challenged when appropriate, and supported as you reconnect with yourself and build the life you truly want.

My name is Romy Rodriguez and I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor. I have worked with various populations with mental health and substance abuse struggles. I also provided Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy to adolescents and their families who were living in homeless shelters and were in the court system. I have also worked with women with Post-Partum depression and struggling with substance abuse. Two of the modalities that I work with are Brainspotting and EMDR. Brainspotting focuses on identifying specific eye positions (“brainspots”) that connect to unprocessed material in the brain. By maintaining focused attention on these spots, clients are able to access, process, and resolve underlying issues at a deeper neurological level. This approach is especially effective for trauma, anxiety, and emotional regulation, allowing for profound healing in a safe, attuned, and client-centered space. I also specialize in EMDR. Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) is an evidence-based therapy designed to help clients process and heal from trauma, distressing memories, and negative beliefs. As an EMDR-trained therapist, I guide clients through structured phases that use bilateral stimulation (such as eye movements) to help the brain reprocess stuck or overwhelming experiences. This allows painful memories to lose their intensity and supports the development of more adaptive, empowering beliefs. EMDR is highly effective for trauma, anxiety, and other emotional challenges, offering deep and lasting relief in a safe, supportive, and client-centered environment.

Hi, and welcome. I know that looking for a therapist can feel intimidating, especially when life has already thrown so many challenges your way. It’s normal to feel overwhelmed, uncertain, or even hopeless in the process. But I want you to know—you're not alone, and support is here. After facing my own personal challenges with relationships, parenting, and identity, I felt called to help others move through the same struggles. With over 15 years of experience, I work as both a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) and Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). My work integrates clinical therapy with behavioral science to support individuals, couples, and families in navigating their lives with confidence, clarity, and compassion. I provide a safe, non-judgmental space where we can explore what’s holding you back, understand long-standing patterns, and begin building new skills and perspectives that support sustainable change.
