You look like you're holding it all together—but inside, you're exhausted. A comment, a change in tone, or a moment of silence can send your mind racing. You replay conversations, overanalyze everything, and hold everyone else together while quietly losing yourself.
Hi, I'm Eva Chocron, LMFT. I specialize in helping anxious, high-functioning individuals who seem confident on the outside but feel overwhelmed, disconnected, and stuck in painful relationship patterns on the inside. Maybe you've been told you're "too sensitive"—or you've just gotten very good at hiding it.
I work with relationship anxiety, overthinking, people-pleasing, low self-esteem, and unhealthy relationship patterns. Together, we'll help you stop second-guessing yourself, calm your nervous system, build boundaries without guilt, and strengthen emotional resilience.
You don't want perfection anymore. You want peace. You want to trust yourself again. You want relationships where you can express your needs without feeling guilty, "too much," or afraid you'll push people away. You want to feel safe—not only in your relationships, but within yourself.
I also work with couples navigating communication problems, recurring conflict, emotional disconnection, trust after betrayal, and rebuilding intimacy—helping both partners feel heard, understood, and valued.
I provide online therapy for anxiety, relationship issues, and couples across Florida and Virginia, in English and Spanish.
Do you feel overwhelmed by your emotions? Like no one truly sees you or understands what you are going through? Maybe you find you find yourself questioning your worth, putting pressure on yourself to perform, or struggling to quiet that critical inner voice.

I am a licensed mental health counselor (LMHC) based in Yulee, Florida. I provide Telehealth services for clients all over the state. I work with adolescents and adults. I specialize in anxiety, depression, and stress, using EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing), CBT (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy) and a Person-Centered Approach. Therefore, I offer a space where people can slow down, better understand the patterns behind what they feel, and learn how to navigate life with more clarity, emotional balance, and self-understanding rather than constantly feeling like they are just trying to survive through it.

My goal is to walk alongside clients as they build resilience, find clarity, and move toward emotional and personal growth.
I am a dedicated and compassionate therapist specializing in couples counseling and individual therapy. With expertise in cognitive behavioral therapy, Imago relationship theory, and Person-Centered Therapy, I tailor treatment to meet your unique needs. I’m a therapist who leads with authenticity, compassion, and real conversation. My practice is built on the belief that people heal best when they feel genuinely seen, supported, and understood, so I work hard to create a space where you can show up exactly as you are—curious, overwhelmed, hopeful, or unsure—and still feel welcomed. I blend practical, evidence‑based tools with a warm, intuitive presence to help you explore your emotions, understand long‑standing patterns, and navigate life’s challenges with more clarity and confidence. My goal is to walk alongside you as you deepen your self‑awareness, strengthen your resilience, and move toward meaningful, lasting change.

I completed my Masters in 2005, while also starting my journey in the field in 2004. I spent a year working in Opiate addiction but my true passion was children and families. I moved on to intensive services, working with underserved children and their families in rural areas, from 2005-2007. After leaving that position, I moved onto a company doing similar work. where I continued to work with children, families and adults that were underserved for 5 more years. I provided therapy in homes, schools and the office setting. I began to focus in on Trauma work as well as anxiety disorders to include OCD and all other anxiety disorders. After spending nearly 10 years in the field, I decided to get my license in the state of Florida (LMHC-Licensed Mental Health Counselor) and move into a management role where I worked for the past 13 years while also maintaining private clients. I supervise therapists, working to become licensed, so I spend a lot of time consulting on cases of all kinds. In this time I was also trained in various forms of trauma based cognitive behavioral approaches as well as EMDR (still learning however).

My approach to therapy is solution-focused and practical. While talking things through is important, I also believe therapy should help you build tools you can actually use in your everyday life. Together, we focus on what’s happening right now and look for realistic ways to make things feel more manageable.
I often incorporate mindfulness in a grounded, approachable way. This isn’t about doing it perfectly or trying to feel calm all the time. It’s about learning how to notice what’s going on inside you, slow things down, and respond with more intention rather than reacting on autopilot.
Above all, I care about the relationship we build. I aim to create a warm, non-judgmental, and collaborative space where trust can grow and you can show up as you are. Therapy with me is a partnership, and we work at a pace that feels right for you, safe and respectful.
