New to Grow
I am a licensed clinical social worker with experience providing psychotherapy in outpatient, inpatient, community mental health, veteran services, student counseling, and crisis settings. I work with adults navigating trauma, anxiety, depression, ADHD, relationship challenges, life transitions, and the lasting effects of difficult experiences. My approach is warm, collaborative, and trauma-informed. I believe therapy should be a space where you feel heard, respected, and supported while also being challenged to grow. Together, we will explore patterns that may be keeping you stuck, build practical coping skills, and work toward meaningful and lasting change.
The first session is an opportunity for us to get to know one another. We will discuss what brings you to therapy, your current concerns, relevant life experiences, and what you hope to gain from treatment. I will ask questions to better understand your history, strengths, and goals while creating a space where you can share at your own pace. My goal is to help you feel comfortable, answer any questions you may have, and begin developing a treatment plan that aligns with your needs and goals.
My goal is not focused primarily on symptom reduction, but in helping clients build a life that feels more authentic, meaningful, and aligned with who they are. Therapy can help develop insight into longstanding patterns, strengthen coping skills, improve relationships, and create lasting change.
My ideal clients are motivated for change, curious about understanding themselves more deeply, and ready to break long-standing patterns that no longer serve them. Therapy offers a supportive space to heal, build resilience, and create lasting change rooted in self-awareness and self-compassion. I particularly enjoy working with helping professionals, students, veterans, and individuals who have overcome adversity and are seeking healing, growth, and a stronger sense of purpose.
