New to Grow
Welcome! I am so happy you here! I’m Tania Jacques, Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), and I believe everyone deserves a safe place to feel heard, supported, and understood. Life can become overwhelming when you’re dealing with anxiety, depression, stress, burnout, relationship challenges, or struggling to maintain your emotional well-being. You don’t have to navigate those experiences alone allow me to be here for you. I work with adults and young adults who are ready to better understand themselves, develop healthier coping skills, and create meaningful, lasting change. Whether you’re feeling emotionally exhausted, overwhelmed by work, experiencing low self-esteem, or facing a difficult life transition, my goal is to help you regain confidence, find balance, and move toward the life you want. My practice provides a compassionate, nonjudgmental, and culturally responsive space where healing and personal growth can happen at your own pace.
Starting therapy can feel both exciting and intimidating, and that’s completely normal. During our first session, we’ll spend time getting to know one another. I’ll invite you to share what brought you to therapy, any concerns you’re experiencing, and what you hope to gain from our work together. We’ll explore your current challenges, discuss your personal strengths, and identify goals that are meaningful to you. There is no pressure to share everything at once. My priority is creating a space where you feel comfortable, respected, and supported from the very beginning. By the end of our first session, you’ll have a better understanding of how I work, and together we’ll begin creating a plan that supports your goals.
One of my greatest strengths is creating a warm, supportive environment where clients feel comfortable being themselves without fear of judgment. I believe every person has unique strengths, even during difficult seasons, and I enjoy helping clients recognize those strengths as they work toward healing. Clients often appreciate my calm presence, genuine compassion, active listening, and collaborative approach. I strive to meet each person where they are while offering practical tools, encouragement, and evidence-based strategies that can be applied in everyday life. I also understand that healing isn’t one-size-fits-all. Every treatment plan is personalized to reflect each client’s experiences, values, and goals.
My ideal clients are young adults, adults, and women who are feeling overwhelmed by life’s challenges and are ready to invest in their emotional well-being. They may be experiencing anxiety, stress, depression, low self-esteem, workplace burnout, relationship difficulties, or major life transitions that leave them feeling stuck or emotionally drained. I especially enjoy working with professionals experiencing career-related stress, individuals struggling to balance work and personal responsibilities, and women navigating motherhood, postpartum changes, or the demands of raising a family while maintaining their own identity and well-being. I also support clients who want to improve communication, build healthier relationships, strengthen self-confidence, and develop effective coping skills. Many of my clients come to therapy feeling exhausted, uncertain, or disconnected from themselves. They don’t need to have everything figured out they simply need a willingness to explore their experiences and take small, meaningful steps toward healing and growth. Whether you’re seeking support during a difficult season or looking to create lasting positive change, I provide a compassionate, collaborative, and nonjudgmental space where you can feel safe, understood, and empowered. Together, we’ll work to help you manage life’s challenges, build resilience, improve emotional wellness, and move toward a more balanced and fulfilling life.
Other specialties
I identify as
Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)
I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to help clients recognize the connection between their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors. Together, we’ll identify unhelpful thinking patterns, challenge negative beliefs, and develop healthier ways of responding to life’s challenges.
Brainspotting
Brainspotting is a brain-body therapy that helps access and process experiences that may be stored in the nervous system. By identifying specific eye positions connected to emotional activation, clients can process unresolved stress, trauma, anxiety, and emotional blocks at a deeper level. I guide clients through this process at a pace that feels safe and comfortable, allowing the brain and body to work together toward healing and emotional resilience.
Accelerated Experiential Dynamic Psychotherapy (AEDP)
AEDP helps clients safely explore emotions that may have been avoided or buried because of difficult life experiences. I provide a supportive, compassionate environment where clients can process painful emotions, strengthen self-awareness, and develop healthier emotional connections with themselves and others. This approach promotes healing, resilience, and lasting emotional growth.
Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT)
EFT Tapping (Emotional Freedom Techniques) EFT Tapping combines gentle tapping on specific acupressure points with focused attention on difficult emotions, thoughts, or stressful experiences. I use this technique to help clients reduce emotional distress, calm the nervous system, and improve emotional regulation. Many clients find it helpful for managing anxiety, stress, overwhelming emotions, and increasing their sense of calm and well-being.
