I have been in the mental health field since 2007. I was informed when I first started in this field that the average time for people to stay in the field is two years. I am still in the field because helping others is more than a career choice for me, it is my passion in life. Helping others is a personal goal of mine. I look forward to the opportunity. Each case and each client is unique in their way and each client is important. My particular areas of expertise are depression, anxiety, substance abuse, marriage counseling and family counseling. I refer to myself as a "simple-minded therapist" which means we will explore simple ways to address the presenting concerns because many times the solutions are so simple they can be easily overlooked.
